She looked around at the community and noticed a large BURGER sized hole in the local market. Thus, MayMay’s was born! Located in a newly-renovated, century-old building in the heart of Mount Enterprise, Tx; this modern (yet homey) restaurant serves Fresh Smash Burgers, Pizzas, Toasted Sandwiches, Coffee and MORE!

I like this place that’s why it pains me to leave this review. I gave 3 stars on service because EVERY TIME I call to make a to go order they won’t answer the phone. I have to call 2 or 3 times before they answer or I either give up trying and go somewhere else. It’s a shame really. I called 3 times today (3/6/26) at 1:27 and no answer. So I drove by to see if they were open and they were but there were no cars other than employees. Must be phone trouble. Other than that, I don’t understand ignoring the phone. I understand you would rather people order online but not every one finds that as convenient as you do. I hope you do better because I really like your food.
UPDATE (3/7/26)- I am updating this review because of the quick response I received from Meagan about my concerns. I know they will do what she says and keep May Mays a great place.

Fantastic burger, fries, chips, and honey lavender flavor! What an excellent stop en route from Mount Ida to the Gulf! The service was very quick, and the smash burger had incredible flavor, maybe a hint of sweet pickle. So tasty, my friend loved the burger and French fries, and the location is super convenient, just off the road. The cozy dining room adds to the charm, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was laid-back, perfect for a relaxing meal after a long drive. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu next time!

With only a few options to choose from, MayMay’s was an easy pick over Whataburger. Their menu is very family friendly with options and prices. There was a tad of a wait only because they cook everything fresh. I’m glad we gave MayMay’s a try, we’ll definitely be back.

What a breath of fresh air! Great, friendly service, very fair prices, large portions and absolutely delicious. The place is welcoming and clean, even the outdoor seating/playground area is very clean and well kept. The menu is much larger than expected. This place is amazing.

We stopped in on our drive for breakfast and ordered build your own sandwich. Both came with bacon despite us not ordering it on our sandwich. When my husband asked to have his sandwich made without the lady with short reddish brown hair was pissed and slapped the new sandwich on the table. He got a coffee and asked for creamer, they said they only have milk and he said wonderful could I have some. They brought milk in a tiny ketchup container. I also ordered a cinnamon roll which they forgot to give me but we paid for and when I asked she was mad again. My roll was given cold, not warm for me to eat. My latte was good but that was about it. We should have just stopped at a fast food chain at this rate.

Been here a few times now and it’s always excellent. The food is high quality and so delicious! We’ve tried several things on the menu, from burgers to salds to donuts, and everything has been very good! Service is friendly. Prices are fair. Stop into this small town gem for a wonderful treat!!
*Update* Tried the Coats Special pizza and it’s amazing too! Thin crust is perfectly crispy.

A lovely little cafe with friendly service and fantastic food! The dining room is tiny but there are several picnic tables across the drive-thru.
I popped in for lunch on a Sunday and breaky the following Monday. My chicken salad sandwich was light and flavorful however I would prefer the croissant toasted. The fries had a crisp exterior and fluffy interior, seasoned well enough to stand on their own but pair well with ranch dressing.
The 822 turkey breaky sammy was served on sourdough that was easily confused for Texas toast. I added bacon to really send this pesto-lined sandwich to another level.
The coffee was piping hot and full of flavor. The real star of the show here was the donut. I was recommended the blueberry and it was absolutely perfect.
The one negative was the insane amount of flies buzzing around the front door.

The service was fantastic. We didn’t feel rushed ordering, which is nice when you are a first-timer.
Interior is tiny but clean. You won’t be able to stop with a large group and eat indoors. Singular restroom immediately next to a dining table was less than desirable.
For the food:
The smash burger was seasoned well, cooked properly. The patty isn’t the expected thin “smash” burger patty you get at most places- happy surprise. Our order was slightly wrong but the flavors worked.
Loved the battered fries dipped in the MayMay sauce.
The only thing we both agreed was not good was the bun. The flavor, texture and sogginess made the burger less appetizing.
Other than that – definitely give this place a stop.
