I’m not sure what was happening today, fish was horrible hard and very greasy, the fries were just as cold and greasy. Simply not a pleasant experience very disappointed with the flounder seems like the portion size is shrinking only for the manager to tell me the size of my flounder was about 3ozs, if she took it back to the cooks they would say that’s what they are serving. Smh the only thing good was speaking with the young lady taking orders, it was definitely a pleasure speaking with her.

Last night’s dinner at Roza Seafood Restaurant was amazing! I got the catfish and popcorn shrimp combination. It was fried very crispy and golden. With the loaded baked potato on the side? Perfection. And I the desserts were the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, was a great dining experience!

Not overly impressed with the food. It was just “something to eat”. Should have taken the empty parking lot at 7pm in a fair size city as a warning. The lady that served us was fantastic.

I ordered the special for takeout which was 14.99. I ordered 3 plates and my grand total was $50.27. They charged me for taking my food to go and to use MY debit card. I also called it in AND when I got here, I was told that my food wasnt ready bc they dont cook it until you pay. Why in the world would you take my order over the phone then? Ill never come back and I’ll be telling everyone I know not to come here. Its no wonder you all are about to go out of business and the parking lot is always empty. This is ridiculous and they won’t refund me.

Stopped in to grab a bite and after ordering the food the waitress took a break after bringing out our shrimp and fish. Did not see her again had to get a different person on the staff to help us. Then the food itself was not great. The shrimp had a chlorine taste and the baked potato was burned on the bottom. Over all it was a bad meal and for 60 bucks it should have been a lot better

Visiting from out of State, We’d heard this was a nice place for Seafood. I got the fried catfish, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese and fried okra. I also got carrot cake for dessert. The catfish was fried OK the size of the fillets were all right… Not too small or too big (although I would not have minded if they were bigger.) the macaroni and cheese is OK just decent kind of like some Kraft with maybe some added natural cheese. The fried okra was like anyone else’s okra probably from a bag that had been fried in fresh grease. The sweet potatoes were very bland they lacked flavor sugar, butter, cinnamon, and everything else. The carrot cake was delicious. This also seemed like it probably came from another place as it was not freshly baked.
The highlight of the experience was the gentleman who took my order, Khari.
He is the sole reason I gave this restaurant four stars instead of the three they deserve.

Been coming here as kid. I haven’t went for a long time, but everything was better than before. The lady’s at take out were polite and very helpful with manners.

I arrived at Mayflower at 11:30am (Opening time). Purchased a Take Out Combination Flounder and Popcorn Shrimp with a Side of Yams and Fried Oysters. My Bill was $35. Got home 15min later and noticed that food looked and Tasted 4 days old and Dry. This is very Badd.

If I could give a negative one star I would for the simple fact that the food is not worth the price. When I reviewed my plate I noticed that my loaded potato only had a little bit of cheese on it so considering the fact that you charge an extra $1.99 for cheese and bacon I asked for more cheese. I was told that there was 4 oz of cheese on my potato and if I wanted more I would be charged another $1.99. I cook daily and I know exactly what 4 oz of cheese look like and there is no way that there is a half a cup of cheese on my potato and you could clearly see that. I now remember why I hadn’t been there in so long and why I won’t be returning.

I had a craving for seafood today and realized I’d never been to the mayflower closest to me. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. However, the grease they used to cook our fish today was really old. I knew it when I noticed how dark it was and it smelled like old grease. The shrimp and fries were clearly cooked in a different grease. I brought it home for my pets to eat and I can smell the old grease over the smell of fish even more so since its cold. I don’t know how often they do this there, but once is enough for me.
