Welcoming calabash style seafood restaurant. The service was good from start to finish. Employees weren’t familiar with some of the menu offerings. The fried oysters had a burnt taste like the oil needed to be changed. The popcorn chicken and shrimp were both good. The fried chicken livers were good. The okra had the burnt taste as well.

Awesome food. I ordered the flounder, coleslaw, and greens. No complaints. Atmosphere: ordered my food to go; in the lobby in that section, it was extremely warm. Being outside felt better than the inside. I hope they install a better cooling system for the staff that wait customers in that area. Moral will definitely increase for anyone that must attend to that spot.

I ordered the flounder popcorn shrimp with the shrimp cooked a little extra crisp. I was going to get the bake sweet potato till I found out that was an extra dollar 50 up charge for that. So they brought me out some hush puppies while I waited and they were excellent. They finally brought me the food. I picked up a piece of the fish and dripped grease all on my pants. It was so greasy. My popcorn shrimp was not cooked extra and the baked potato that I had settle for was halfway cooked. I will not eat at this Mayflower again they said sorry.

We ate our hush puppies with hard as a brick butter no ketchup. When we got our food the flounder tasted watered down the rest was burnt or burnt tasting the scallops was like breaking off a piece of sponge could not eat. Sent bake potatoe back because it was still hard in the middle. My hisband would not send his back for fear of what might happen. Broccoli was cold and hard no flavor even my child’s French fries were cold in the middle. The price was 46 dollars and some change when I paid I counted the money on the counter correctly she still made me pay another dollar over the bill. Very rude. Hardly any one in there but the waitress kept disappearing. Eat at your own risk. I will not blow that kind of money there again I brought home left overs for my dogs they would not touch it.

Absolutely awesome! The plate was so full that the shrimp kept trying fall off my plate, and it was SO GOOD! Friendly, smiling faces from every employee we saw, and drinks kept full. I would definitely go back and fully recommend!

I placed an order online for their Tuesday special. When I arrived my food was ready. The guys at the front counter were very polite and helpful. Offered me condiments for my food…just really nice. Got home, food was still hot and I had a nice size portion. My shrimp tasted really well. I was pleased.
