Mayflower never seems to disappoint. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I always request fried crispy for the extra crunch. The large combo plates can definitely feed two people.

My girlfriend and I was trying to figure out where would we go and eat We were out shopping in lexington So I said, let’s ride to Mayflower, and we ended up in Greensboro.Trust me , I go to hundreds of restaurants throughout the map And no one has ever treated us the way that white lady did a Beautiful person A good Christian example, for a lot of people, she make up for some folks, even when we walked in the hostess, had so much joy. You could tell she enjoys her job, but the lady that waited on us, she went Far beyond Call of Duty, we was so happy when we laugh. The food was just the way food should come out. Hot French fries was cooked, the way I wanted and the fish was golden brown pitcher, perfect. Mayflower, you have my blessings. I pray that God forever bless that restaurant. Everything was nice and clean and in place. You could tell the oil had been changed.n There wasn’t a foul taste in sight. We will be back.I want the same waitress.She became our friend.That’s how you treat a customer.I think we’ll even throw in a few gifts for her.When we return

We ate our hush puppies with hard as a brick butter no ketchup. When we got our food the flounder tasted watered down the rest was burnt or burnt tasting the scallops was like breaking off a piece of sponge could not eat. Sent bake potatoe back because it was still hard in the middle. My hisband would not send his back for fear of what might happen. Broccoli was cold and hard no flavor even my child’s French fries were cold in the middle. The price was 46 dollars and some change when I paid I counted the money on the counter correctly she still made me pay another dollar over the bill. Very rude. Hardly any one in there but the waitress kept disappearing. Eat at your own risk. I will not blow that kind of money there again I brought home left overs for my dogs they would not touch it.

Welcoming calabash style seafood restaurant. The service was good from start to finish. Employees weren’t familiar with some of the menu offerings. The fried oysters had a burnt taste like the oil needed to be changed. The popcorn chicken and shrimp were both good. The fried chicken livers were good. The okra had the burnt taste as well.

Was in Burlington tonight and got a Monday, special shrimp and flounder. And then a regular shrimp plate. And I have to say it was very delicious. It was very hot and they give you a lot for your money..! I got take out and took it home to my mom. She was also Please with the taste and the quantity of food in the box…

The family wanted seafood for dinner tonight so we ordered from Mayflower. We have ordered takeout from here for years so we know what to expect. Shrimp was fried to perfection, slaw and hushpuppies were good. Unfortunately the baked potato was overcooked so much it was hard so I didn’t eat. We wanted to commend the young lady at the takeout counter. It was close to 5:00 on a Saturday and she was hustling answering the phone, taking walk in orders and assisting customers picking up. Customers thankfully were patient as they should be. Overall everything was good and we will be back again soon.

One of the last good Mayflowers left! One of the few restaurants where the food quality has remained consistent through the years. Good daily specials and the hush puppies are life! If you love calabash style seafood it’s a must try, but the grilled selection is good too!

My husband brought home take out food today and it was absolutely awful! The batter that the popcorn shrimp was fried in was salty and it did not taste as it usually does. The coleslaw had a funny color, it looked dry, and it had a weird smell, but I decided to taste it anyways, and it was disgusting! I ate one hush puppy and tried to stomach a few shrimp, but due to how disappointed I was with the food, I didn’t even bother to open the baked potato. I just threw the entire plate away. My husband and I never complain, but this was terrible and here we are out of $15! The quality of many things are going down, while prices are steady increasing! It’s sad, and this is one restaurant we will cross off our list!

Popcorn shrimp are always good and usually no wait to be seated. Loaded bake potato was good. Green beans are pretty good and portions are always good.
