We stop here every time we travel North and it is by far the best Dairy Queen! The staff always greets us when we enter, it’s always clean, and they’re fast with our orders. I wish our local chain was as good as this one. Props to management and staff. Keep up the great work!

Probally the best Dairy Queen in the state. Great food, and not even bad pricewise. Staff is always nice, food is WAY better than any other Dairy Queen. If you ever pass by, stop for lunch. You won’t be disappointed!

Stop your car immediately!! — This isn’t just a Dairy Queen, this is a pilgrimage site for true DQ fans and the Platonic ideal of what the chain represents. The Cameron, TX location truly sets the standard for the entire chain.
The vibe is pure small-town nostalgia, but the service is what elevates this experience to legendary status. The staff was beyond excellent—genuinely friendly, fast, and it was clear the crew takes immense pride in what they do. Every interaction was a masterclass in customer care.
Now for the main event!!: the treats. The chocolate soft serve was a delicious highlight, rarely seen at other DQ locations, and the Blizzards and ice creams were superb across the board. The cheese curds were exactly what you dream of. The commitment to quality was undeniable: the server held our ice cream and Blizzards upside down for the entire time they were bringing our items out! A true sign of supreme quality and thickness.
If you are driving anywhere near Cameron, Texas, do yourself a favor and experience the peak DQ experience. I will be measuring every other Dairy Queen against this one from now on. This is the gold standard.
I look forward to coming back with the family and enjoy other items on the menu just to see what magic comes out of the kitchen.

The same DQ you find from coast to coast and border to border, what makes them special and noteworthy is the service and the cleanliness, and this is an example of how it’s done right.
Easy to get to if you’re on the correct side of the street, parking is a little snug with a couple of spaces next to the building with the usual concrete walkway curb and a few more spaces on either border of the property.
Clean, neat, tidy – both the building and the staff. Never had a negative experience here, these folks pay attention and do it right.

We just got 2 belt buster burger combos through the drive through on the way to Temple, normally we love this Dairy Queen, the young man at the window around 11:15am was less than well mannered and my burger was ordered with cheese and no onions, instead I recieved a burger with extra onions, and no cheese. This is a severe disappointment and not on par with this locations normal service. Impacts whether I will go there or somewhere else next time for a drive through experience. At the cost these days, you expect your order right and service to be friendly.

We stopped here for a blizzard as we were passing through town. The store is very clean and the staff were very friendly. They had our blizzards ready so fast that we barely had time to find a table to sit down before they called our order. We will plan to stop again on our next trip.
