Tried Mayfair Garden on Commerce Street and honestly this place surprised me in the best way.

⭐ Cauliflower 65 – 5/5 Absolute standout dish. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the sauce was insanely flavorful without being overpowering. Easily a must-order.

⭐ Paneer / Spinach Curry – 4.5/5Rich, creamy, and well balanced with spices. Tasted fresh and paired amazingly with the naan.

⭐ Garlic Naan – 4.5/5Soft, buttery, loaded with garlic, and slightly charred just the way it should be.

⭐ Biryani – 4/5Great aroma and good spice level. Flavorful overall, though I personally like it a little more layered.

⭐ Tandoori Appetizer – 4/5Nicely grilled with a smoky touch. Juicy and well marinated.

⭐ Desserts (Gulab Jamun & Baklava) – 4/5Warm, sweet, and a satisfying way to end the meal without feeling too heavy.

Service – 5/5The owner was very welcoming and personally checked on customers, which made the experience feel warm and genuine.

Menu – 5/5Loved the smaller, focused menu. It usually means better quality and execution, and it definitely showed in the food.

Overall Rating: 4.6/5Great food, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable vibe. If you’re nearby, this spot is absolutely worth trying — and don’t leave without ordering the Cauliflower 65!

One word, Delightful! A month ago, I traveled to Dallas, TX and out of state for the first time to attend a convention that weekend and afterwards, me and my sister went here to have dinner.

It was our first time seeing this style of restaurant and we were really unfamiliar with the dishes so we decided to ask the cashier for recommendations. They kindly recommended the dishes in the photos and they were really delicious! We had ordered a sandwich looking one (apologies i forgotten the name), a rice platter, truffle fries and Turkish Delight. Each one came out fairly quickly, in really big portions and they had a very warm homemade feeling to them. The sandwich in particular was my favorite because it had really fresh tasting vegetables and the bread remind me of green onion pancakes. The Turkish delight was very surprising. I’m really used to the snow cubes ones you get in stores but these ones had some nutty, floral, and sweet tasting ones. In the end, we packed some to go and saved it as lunch during the convention and even overnight, they still stayed really fresh the next day.

Overall, the staff was really kind and for the first time, we got to speak with the owner about his story on starting up this restaurant and his humble beginnings. I really wish this place luck for the future because this has gave us a lasting memory of our first restaurant we went to in TX. Thank you and happy holidays!

Le French Kebab – it’s a Pakistani/Mediterranean French style fusion. Food was amazing! I had their biryani rice with chicken tikka and falafel chaat. There are several paid parking lots available but also there is street parking, which I realized after parking in one of the lots! It’s beautiful at night time. Additionally, the pricing is really good for the food quality, ambiance, location, etc. I love that their menu is limited so you do not have to spin your head around deciding what to eat, give it a try!

We came on a Friday night because my fiancée had heard about French Indian fusion restaurant in Dallas. The food was delicious. My fiancée is vegetarian and had the Paneer Haryali Curry. She loved it and the presentation was very appealing as well. I had the Lamb Amritsari, and the meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. The truffle fries were wonderful as well. They had the perfect amount of crisp.

Our server was very welcoming and kind. He said they recently tweaked their menu to add more options.

I was touring a few apartment communities in the area and got hungry, so I searched for nearby restaurants like anyone normally would. I came across Le French Kebab, and from the moment I walked in, the fresh food aromas were incredible. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner and chef, which made the experience even better. He was incredibly welcoming and even offered me a cup of tea, which was a really nice touch. You can truly feel the passion and care that goes into the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was warm, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try.

TL;DR: It’s an Indian restaurant, not a French/North African/Middle Eastern fusion restaurant.

I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt this one deserved some clarification. And since they asked me to, I will oblige.

I’d been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while. As someone who enjoys French and kebab-style food, and who’s missed North African and Middle Eastern flavors since living in Europe, I was excited to see a spot that seemed to offer that mix.

However, upon arriving, I quickly realized it wasn’t what I expected. Despite its name and the posters on the storefront, this is not a French or fusion restaurant, it’s an Indian restaurant. The posters (which look AI-generated) show dishes that aren’t even on the menu, which is very misleading. I found it funny they, Larping as French fusion restaurant, gave me a business card to give a google review and on it says: “from Paris to Dallas”.

To be fair, the food and service were both excellent. My review isn’t about quality, it’s about honesty in presentation. I stayed and ate because I was already there, and the meal was genuinely good. It just wasn’t what I had come for.

For anyone craving Indian food, this place might be worth your time visiting. But if you’re expecting North African or French cuisine, you may want to look elsewhere.

I went here for lunch and got the gyro and chicken tikka platter and it was out of this world! So delicious. I obviously had to come back again the next week. The food is so flavorful and fulfilling, and the atmosphere is super cute too! I like that you can sit outside or inside. It was a warm sunny day when I came so I had a peaceful and relaxing lunch at an outside table. I also ordered the kunafa (which I have never had before) and it was very good also. I recommend you try this place whether you’re a a fan of Indian or middle eastern food or not. I bet you’ll love it! They also serve hot cardamom tea for free and it’s really good. 10/10 experience
