This is a small shack on the Asbury broad walk, close to the convention hall entrance. The menu has plenty of American food items like burgers, hot dogs, cheesteakrs, chicken tenders and funnel cakes. It’s one of the more popular stores within the area, so gets super crowded around lunch hours. I had to wait about 10 minutes to order, then another 10 minutes to get my order. Since it’s at the beach, of course the prices were high, $10 for hot dog, $13-$15 for burgers, $14 for cheesesteak, fries $6-$9 and drinks were $5.
I ordered the chili hot dog and cheesesteak with fries. The chili dog was really good, loved the taste of chili, cheese and the sausage. But the cheesesteak was disappointing. Even though the beef was good, they literally put raw onions on top. Neither the bread nor the onion were grilled. Fries were average too. The service was fine, got all my items without any issues.
Despite some of these drawbacks, due to limited options it is one of the go to places for a good portion meal on this broad walk.

Best therapy on the boardwalk! Excellent funnel cake and lemonade! This permanent family-owned stand offers burgers, fries, cheesesteaks, and more. Their funnel cakes are the best on the boardwalk with a crispy outside and soft inside. They obviously use a separate fryer for them (you can taste it) and offer toppings like whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas. Mayfair puts the fun in funnel cake!

This 100% hit the spot for the beginning of the season. Mayfair never fails us! We got the vegan chicken sandwich (loaded) and tots. Super crispy and delicious! First of many for the season!

You’re better off eating sand from the beach.
If you order a cheeseburger, the cashier will ask you if you want lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles … but not tell you that it’s 50¢ extra PER TOPPING. Turns out the 2 dollars extra I paid for vegetables was the only edible part of the burger.

Good lord was this delicious! I ordered the cookies and cream funnel cake, and was not disappointed. A little pricey and took a little longer than expected, but this delectable dessert was worth it. If you’re on the Asbury boardwalk and craving something sweet, be sure not to miss this!

Great quick stop for fries, steak sandwich, burger, hot dog. Prices reasonable and kids love the food. Being next to Silver Ball is a bonus, can dart in and out to hit the MayFair. An Asbury Park Tradition since 1952. Be sure to check them out. Do the cheesy bacon fries. OMG.

Mayfair had a really good Double Cheese Burger. Cooked very well. Crispy on the outside. Juicy in the middle. Great proportion and I would grab this burger every time I go to Asbury for sure!
