Me and my best friend came for crawloween and it was a 10/10 experience, the drinks were cheap and good and the music/club vibes were everythinggg.

My friends and I went to Mayes Oyster House for their Super Bowl watch party and it was a terrible experience. The event was advertised as free entry before 3:30 on Eventbrite, but when we arrived they told us it was not free and made us pay anyway. This seems to be a recurring issue. We know they do use Eventbrite because other people bought their tables through the exact same site and were let in without a problem. It honestly felt like a tactic to get people there and then charge them at the door.

The audio for the game did not work for about 40 minutes after kickoff, so we missed the entire first quarter with no sound. For a Super Bowl party, that is unacceptable. We also ordered a bucket of beer and were told it would be 50 dollars, but we were charged 65 instead. Between that and the rude, unprofessional staff, everything felt overpriced and shady.

Overall this place felt dishonest and poorly run. Just do not go here. This place sucks.

Went for a game, cover was a random number that was decided by the bouncer. High cover and no drink included and then high prices drinks too
Sound was also not working and we were just waiting, also there were absolutely no tables to sit at
Felt like getting scammed, deceiving bar.
will never come back.

Super Bowl was a disaster. The audio didn’t work for the game. The bathrooms didn’t have any soap or toilet paper. Simultaneously people had to pay $20 to get in and $50 for 5 cheap beers…

Would not come back here for any event. We went next door to the Irish pub and it was a million times better.

Is supposed to host good watch parties for games but we were honestly disappointed. No sound for the two hours of the game, no table to seat and expensive cover (40+$) without drinks included… Do not recommend.

Can we discuss? From staff to mgmt & beyond, all around great people, food & times. Highly recommended to all. Do enjoy, was a wonderful occasion for the Super Bowl.

Excellent food, environment and friendly service. French toast with lots of flavor, eggs, bacon and salmon. Nice drinks. A pop up. The manager came by twice to visit. Id do it again anytime!

Two girls and I had a good time here for Saturday night dancing, music, and drinks. Hospitable owner and staff. Proper restroom. Young 20s crowd and music to fit. Integrity true to their web-posted lost and found policy: I left behind a personal valuable and the owner and staff kindly found it and had it ready for pickup the next day. Thank you Mayes!

Stay away from this place. We booked tickets for ‘Laugh GPT: SF’s First AI-Powered Stand-up Comedy Show’, expecting something unique and innovative as advertised. Instead, we walked into an almost empty bar with a handful of local comedians delivering unfunny, low-effort sets. There was nothing AI-powered about the show…just some guys and the same tired jokes. It felt misleading. Definitely not worth the time or money.
