The would not wait on us. The hostess sat us an he was really nice but this waitress refused to wait on our table. She waited on everyone around else even the ones who sat down after us. Then the hostess had to get another waitress to serve us. She was cordial. We felt like outsiders in this restaurant. I don’t know if it was that or another issue. The food was nothing to write home about. In fact you could probably make everything here, just as good at home. They did have a drive up window which was quite busy and a big ice cream selection.

The amount of disappointment I felt when getting food here. It’s overpriced and very badly put together. Getting charged almost 3 dollars for 4 small squares of turkey is ridiculous on top of an overpriced sandwich. I could have made this at home better. Served with a bag of chips (the small bags that used to be 25 cents). Listening to employees talk about me because they messed up my order was fun. Just rude all around. If you want to talk about someone at least be smart enough to wait till they leave. It just wasn’t worth it. Just a mess all around. My memories of this place were severely damaged today. Edit: our entire party, including 2 young children, became sick after eating here. I will def not come back

Was recommended by one of the physicians office I call on.service was good as was the food. I will recommend it. They were very busy on a mid week day, so that tells me a lot about how the locals love this place! Food was not expensive and was very good.

The food was decent but the service was terrible. I asked for a Tuna Melt and a Banana Split. Instead of asking me when I want the dessert brought out like everyone else on the planet with good sense, she went and talked to the male manager and they started making my banana split first and brought it before my Tuna Melt. So I ate the Tuna Melt and Banana Split together. While adventurous, it shows subpar service.

Mayberry has great ice cream, simple sandwiches, and Brunswick Stew! The people are always nice and serve with a smile. I have not been inside in a long time. Unfortunately, I can’t speak on the inside. It wouldn’t be fair being that it’s been over 10 years since I’ve been inside. My daughter, father-in-love, and I enjoy their Brunswick stew, chicken salad sandwiches, and ice cream. I prefer the banana split, cookies-n-cream or raspberry sorbet. My husband and father-in-law enjoys their milk shakes. The prices are reasonable for the portions.

The chicken salad sandwich, (with its Grapes and all white meat chicken on toasted bread) was amazing as always. The Brunswick stew was also so good. Even the tea was good and they have the best ice cream ever. I love the fact that they have a drive thru so much too. Highly recommend.
