First time visiting an izakaya restaurant in Florida and prices were far more reasonable here than some other options near Orlando. Quality was great and portions were very good sizes without being excessive. Atmosphere was nice as well, nothing too fancy, but clean and well appointed. Service was excellent, our sever Daniel was enthusiastic, friendly and attentive. He did a wonderful job, made the experience that much better. Would recommend you visit.

Dined in for dinner . Nice ambience and atmosphere. Service is excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly.
Sushi was great. Bang bang shrimp was delicious. Edamame was good . Tempura , which is one of my fav things to eat at a Japanese restaurant, was bit of let down , not crispy . It was a bit of a soggy oily mess esp the eggplant slices The king mushrooms were inedible and chewy , I ended up eating only the asparagus.
But son and hubby really liked the sushi highly recommended them for sushi and bang bang shrimp

I love this place! Everything I had was amazing, they also offer soju which was a bonus. The ambiance is peaceful and calm, food was full of flavor, presentation is very nice, and service was great! This is one of my favorite local places to eat and I highly recommend!

We came to Mayaki Sushi Izakaya to celebrate my niece’s 12th birthday and it was such a great experience! We ordered a little bit of everything – ramen (both the classic and the spicy, which had a perfect kick), steak and pork belly skewers, bulgogi steak with rice, zucchini & mushroom skewers, and a few sushi rolls. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The staff were so kind and even surprised my niece with a free strawberry dessert, which made her day extra special. The whole vibe of the restaurant is super cute, picture-worthy, and definitely has that cozy yet chic aesthetic.
We’ll for sure be back to try more of the menu—already excited for round two! Highly recommend if you’re in the Davenport area.

Great place! Delicious authentic Japanese Izakaya style food. Very helpful and friendly staff and a nice calm atmosphere. Definitely get the takoyaki, it is so good! Great boba teas as well! We love coming here often. If you can come for lunch during the week, get a bento. You will not be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chicken kushiyaki was very undercooked and the spicy roll was packed with the California roll. The spicy sauce got all over the California roll. Which was for someone was allergic to spicy so they couldn’t eat it.

We were visiting a friend in the area and stopped to have lunch at Mayaki! It was amazing. They have a menu with plenty of non sushi items as well. We tried a few things and everything was amazing. The decor, menu and service are all top of the line. You feel like you are having sushi with the elite because of their freshness, options and deer ice and the prices are great for what they give you!

Food is good but EVERYTIME I ORDERED UBER THEY NEVER, NEVER, NEVER PUT CHOP STICKS OR NAPKINS! Im tired of requesting basic utensils for me to eat! I even put ALL CAPS notes in Uber Eats instructions and still No Chop sticks! Then when you go back to the store and request soy sauce, they want to charge you extra!!!!!!
