This is one of my favorite places to eat in North Conway. I have in fact taken the two hour drive because I was craving some Irish in my day. It is just beyond the Center which for me is the gateway to where the unknown adventure is about to begin.

This isn’t just about the ambiance, which includes every inch of the place thematically detailed with cultural icons, a good fiddle, and arguably one of the best views of Cathedral Ledge, it’s the pride. The moment you walk through the door you are almost guaranteed to be greeted by the owner. I haven’t ever held a conversation with her but, she always greets you with the warmest welcome and sees you off with gratitude.

Now to what got ya there in the first place, the food…. This is where the warmth, pride and love really hit you in the gut. The only place I like a pastrami from, the greatest place to fill with a hearty Shepard’s Pie. The potatoes, meat, fish and chips are what your soul was craving. The leftovers are abundant and never tossed out. This is where you go to recover from the trail or prepare for the shopping.

This is definitely my favorite Irish restaurant/pub and wish it was closer to me. The decor is pretty cool and unique. My family and I enjoyed dining there. The service and food were fantastic.

I had an Irish coffee with Bailey’s and it was so good I had to have another. For my meal, I did the Irish sampler; 3 bowls consisting of Shepard’s pie, beef stew, and pot pie. All were amazing but my favorites were the beef stew then the Shepard’s pie. Overall, a great spot for some Irish food and can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed dinner here on a weekend past the tourist high season. It was before 6 PM but the dining room was full. We took a high top in the bar area. Service was excellent. I think we have a new favorite restaurant in North Conway.

Such a unique experience! Essentially a large house but filled with different size dining tables surrounding the center that is the kitchen. Was a little tight where we were sat but that just made it more cozy. SO MANY TRINKETS AND FUN DECOR!! Food was delicious, portions were smaller than expected but enough to fill the average belly. Very flavorful and relatively quick. Drinks were carefully crafted and worth the try. Definitely going back!

This place was so cute! It was not just a restaurant but an experience. It’s a popular spot for the locals I bet. The staff and the front desk were so friendly, inviting. It felt like a family affair! They have a lot of fun vintage stuff to look at while you wait. Food was great too. I got a pie trio but wasn’t a big fan of the chicken pot pie but I loved the Shepherds pie and beef stew. My friends loved their meals and drinks too. Definitely must visit. Just for the experience and amazing food is a plus!

If you are in the Jackson or North Conway, NH area, you have to stop by May Kelly’s cottage, particularly the bar area on a Sunday night, where musicians pick up and play,
Similar to Scottish musicians at local pubs.

Cozy atmosphere and home-cooked meals, and, I am told, good brewskis as well.

I don’t know where to begin. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant was old Irish vibes and they had a live Irish folk band sitting around a table playing. The waitress was spectacular. Knowledgable of the menu and beer list and wonderful at letting us know when orders were placed and delivery. The food was probably the best Irish cuisine I’ve had to this date. The trio sampler of Shepard’s Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, and Beef Stew were all flavorful. My girlfriends grilled peach and goat cheese salad was so full of flavors and the bacon and walnuts gave it a good crunch, my moms Ruben and butternut squash were amazing and I had the corned beef and cabbage. All were out of this world. Can’t say enough good things.

This restaurant doesn’t disappoint you, even on a busy Friday night. Eating on patio watching the sun sets was amazing! Food & drink were just about right. The steaks in the Irish grill was tender and delicious, recalled me the English full breakfast. Highly recommended!
