Used to be my favorite place .I just moved back to long island after 4 years and couldn’t wait to try my favorite place. Food was horrible. Nothing the same. Chicken wings amd rice are bland no flavor. Shrimp roll tasted like a fish stick. What the hell happened. I’ll never be back. What a shame

I’m a very difficult person and don’t like to eat outside but I like their food taste so far. I like the extra spicy shrimp fried rice and extra scpicy vegetables combo chicken fried rice . Try them if you like spicy food. If not you can say no spicy just regular.

Just tried their “Doordash” online ordering and food was ready on time! Their fried rice is pretty freaking good. Food good, nothing spectacular. That “character” at the front counter every body talks about actually….::gasp::….cracked a very small smile at me today. I almost fell over!

In January, we had my fiancé’s 39th bday party and ordered catering by May Garden for delivery. The man on the phone was super helpful. I had a lot of special requests and they were all honored. Food arrived hot, fresh, and precisely on time. Our big family are all life long residents of Medford/patchogue and no one had heard of this place. Every single person said this is the place. I’ve never had a bad or even borderline dish from May Garden, and I have never had bad service. If you haven’t tried it, give it a try; you won’t regret it.

Whomever answers the phone and takes the order is obnoxious and seems to not care about anything you want. I’ve had the food many times before. It’s basically the same as others. Inside is a seemingly angry man without a smile that gives you your food without a thank you!

If I could give this place a Zero I would. We went in and ordered 3 lunch specials, after we got our food I sent my husband back inside to get some napkins. My husband asked the man at the counter who was a different man than the one who took our order for napkins. They man instantly began screaming at my husband saying “why you come in here asking for napkins, why don’t you go ask another store, go next door and ask them for napkins?!?” The man who originally helped us came out from the back and let the man who was shouting know that we had ordered from there. This type of behavior is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. The man didn’t even offer an apology for the way he spoke with my husband. Degrading and embarrassing him in front of other customers. We ended up just bringing the food back inside for a full refund. In what world is it okay to treat people this way? Perhaps some interpersonal skills training would do them some good.
