Disclaimer: This is my personal experience. If something’s not quite right, I always recommend giving the team a chance to fix it. Most places will. But on this visit, everything lined up for a great night.
The wife and I stopped in on a whim and were genuinely surprised by how good it was. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and had a couple of IPAs — both hit the spot. The pizza came out hot, loaded with toppings, and had a crispy crust that held up well. Great flavor, not greasy, and good portion size.
We sat back with our drinks, listened to live music, and just enjoyed the atmosphere. The vibe was relaxed, friendly, and felt like a perfect small-town night out. Staff was welcoming and quick to check in without hovering.
If you’re in Boulder City looking for casual food, cold drinks, and a good time with music in the background, Maxx’s is worth the stop.

We ordered a pop and a beer. A wrap and a grilled cheese and the two tables that were there when we got there got served everything, paid and left and we never received our food even asking about it 45 minutes in. We asked and the guy with the cowboy hat said “oh it will be another 15 minutes.” People at the bar that came after us were all eating. After 65 minutes we told him forget about it and paid for our drinks and left. This guy should NOT be serving tables. He was consuming alcohol clearly when we got there. Yeah he was nice – but this place service sucks!

Dinner. Ordered the jalapeño poppers pretty freakin good. And the chili cheese dog. Along with pepperoni and cheese pizza 12 inch. Food was amazing. Fresh hot out the oven. Establishment is real clean. Friendly environment they have all the basketball games going for March madness. Will be coming back. Highly recommended

The best pizza in Boulder City! We love Pizza Rock but you don’t always want to drive to green valley. Maxx’s fresh ample toppings, tasty crust and addicting ranch dressing to dip in are awesome. Will definitely come back!

I’ve driven by this place hundreds of times but finally decided to stop in and try the Food and OMG! the pizza is as good or better than the pizzeria down the street which is actually pretty good. Lots of locals food is better on some days when the guy with the mustache works service is better on some days than others overall, it’s a great place. Highly recommend gets very busy quickly. Parking is challenging at times.

The customer service has become excellent over the past few months. They have added some staff that has secured that for the owner and he himself is fantastic. We usually sit on the patio that is well lit with hanging lights and even Christmas lights this time of year. We would like to see those year around as it goes with the theme.
Drinks are affordable and the food has become excellent. Add that to the late night hours they stay open makes it the best spot in Boulder City for evening drinks and food. The calzones, pizza and meatball subs are excellent. The large calzone is also huge. The dough, sauce and seasoning alone is very delicious. We also think the pizza rivals any other we have ever tasted which includes the famous Pizza Port in San Clemente, CA as well as Villa Pizza in Las Vegas. We found the best combo for their calzones is the meatball or pepperoni with artichoke.
There is a large T.V. outside that will display any big game during certain evenings as well as a band or karaoke on specific nights. This is a great locals spot for sure but also a great place if wanting to enjoy the small town charm of Boulder City.
The gentleman who runs/owns the place is a real patriot displaying our American Flag and also caters to veterans.
The fire pit out front when burning is another wonderful, warm and romantic addition.
Fun and cozy spot for a date night, give them a try! We love it!
