We had the Beef Carpaccio and Braised Pork Belly as appetizer and for the main course we shared the 18oz Chateaubriand.
Desert we took a German Chocolate Cake and a trio of cream filled Profitelores which tasted delicious.
The table service was very nice and smooth with a superb waiter to serve our drinks and food professionally.
Will come back again for sure!

What a great experience at Maxwell’s! From the moment we walked in, the hostess welcomed us warmly and asked for our seating preference.
Then, Gio, our assigned server, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. I mentioned I was cold and he offered to bring me some warm water with lemon and even a blanket. Talk about customer service! 5 stars.
The food was phenomenal. We had the crab cakes and burrata for appetizers, and the 14 oz ribeye…. all incredible. Highly recommended.
If we are ever in Fredericton again, we’ll certainly stop by Maxwell’s again.

Unique combination of dishes and flavours on the menu. With some selections there was a sauce menu to choose from which all looked delicious.
I would certainly recommend the new tuna appetizer as it’s the best I’ve had in all my travels.
We were a large group, and everyone expressed how much they enjoyed their choices.

Nice renovated space and view of the Saint John River.
The staff was beyond accommodating and lovely.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to treat myself to a delicious steak at maxwells for my birthday. The reviews are correct, the food was amazing and waiting times were very appropriate. I enjoyed my steak while I watched the sun set on the patio and I would highly reccomend it to anyone in fredericton wanting to treat themselves or their special someone for a fancy dinner. Thank you for making my meal enjoyable!

One of the best dine in experiences I have had in Fredericton. My partner and I ate for
our anniversary. We were extremely impressed and left with stuffed bellies!
The decor/finishes in the restaurant are beautiful, and the seating arrangements are extremely comfortable/relaxed, providing a more intimate experience.
For appetizers we got the Breadsticks, Beef Carpaccio and Panko Crusted Crab Cakes. The crab cakes were definitely the star of the show. The corn compote elevated the dish, bringing a fresh component to lighten up the crab, and the chorizo aioli was so superb, we almost licked the plate clean.
Our main was the 14oz Ribeye (blue rare) with Pomme Purée. It was cooked & seasoned perfectly. The potatoes with chives and cheese curds were perfectly balanced without being too rich, and so smooth. We did not end up getting dessert, but I have heard great things about them and they looked delicious coming out of the kitchen.
Service was excellent, quick and compassionate. They were all so kind, attentive and you really felt taken care of. Drinks of choice were a Copper Cup & Old Fashioned. I will 110% be back soon to repeat some eats, and try some new. Thank you for the phenomenal dinner & experience!

On a colleague’s recommendation, went in to try this restaurant. It’s located inside crown plaza hotel. The ambiance is very nice and the food as well. They have an outdoor patio as well which I guess just opened up with a nice river view so you can enjoy food with a nice view.

The waitresses are very flexible. When I was there a wedding party was having breakfast so that place was busy but the service was still swift.

I have been to Maxwells many times and the last time may be my last time. I often get the beef tenderloin, which is my favourite. My friend and I always order it medium rare and it’s always delicious. This time is was raw. When they brought one back it was overcooked and done on the grill which they don’t usually do. Maxwells is usually a place where you pay higher prices for an excellent meal. This was terrible. I live in Fredericton and am very disappointed. The picture is how the brought the replacement.
