My waitress was lovely. Very attentive and friendly. She was an art history student. I haven’t been to an American pub in years and this place makes me want to go back. I just thought it was a bit on the expensive side for what it is. Solid place.

Went here with some friends for a buddies birthday and Maddie was our server- absolutely amazing! So friendly and great service, bartended was awesome too. The chicken taco special was great! First time here, definitely not the last!

Excellent food and service! They were accommodating for small kids, even though it’s not meant for kids. Fish and chips were excellent, same with the Ruben. We will be back. (Note: fish and chips photo is missing a piece, comes with three.)

The food was well priced with good portions. My Mac and cheese with chicken was a little bland. Perhaps some added heat would have helped it. They have a spicy shrimp option they may have up that factor for me. But would definitely come back to try something else. Many things on the menu looked good.

I love Josh and Vivian they are so amazing! Exceptional customer service. Probably the best I’ve experienced in mpls. My only issue with this pub is the music lol, where is the touch tunes!!?? I have to harass Josh for some decent tunes, his playlist is decent sometimes but needs a bit of variety. I will gladly update my review to a 5 star if you all consider getting touch tunes. Or allow me to keep my own Playlist. The other customers agreed to this request. Trust me, I asked and they all agree its a reasonable request. Thank you, looking forward to patronizing you in the future

Maxwell’s is awesome. Great quality burgers, and the edamame appetizer is excellent with tasty sauce/seasoning. Service is usually great and the ambiance is “nicer hole in the wall” vibe.

Top-notch bartender—friendly, confident, and actually checked my ID even though it’s obvious I’m well into my 30s. I ordered a burger and fries, and when it came out, it looked amazing. Was hyped to dig in, but it was way overseasoned—like, all I could taste was the salt and spice. When the bartender asked how it was, I said “meh,” and without missing a beat, he offered to have it remade. That kind of service saved this from being a 3- or 4-star review. I passed on the remake and ate just enough to not leave hungry, but I genuinely appreciate the effort. I’d absolutely come back.
