I enjoyed the beef polish. The steak burrito didn’t have much flavor. The steak tasted greasy. I’ve had the same experience with the steak tacos. Not a fan of the fries but as a fry lover, I still ate them. Lol U can get a meal for a reasonable price.

Still the best polish in town. This is one of the best Maxwell locations in the Chicago area. The guy that works there is very friendly, funny, and professional. The service is always fast and the food is delicious. The inside is clean and it has a nice size parking lot. We have to admit we haven’t tried anything but the polish, it’s that good, but we heard the taco’s are excellent!

SO, I stopped in here yesterday On my way home. I wanted #ChickenTacos. When I went inside I LOVED that it was clean and didn’t stink. (the one @ 11656 S Halsted St, is stink, Funky). So I appreciated that this place appeared clean and didn’t have a bad odor.
I ordered my 3 chicken tacos and fries. (#Damn I forgot to tell them what I wanted on my tacos and they didn’t ask). I wanted onions, cilantro, cheese… IDK what they put on these (stinky) tacos.
I get home the meat / tacos stink like the meat is spoiled. and I like the (potato) fries at the one on Halstead better. not only did the chicken stink on these tacos but some of the chicken was hard (OLD).
I give 4-5 for customer service
I give 4-5 ⭐️ for appearance of cleanliness and no funky smell in the restaurant.
I give 0 for this stinky / spoiled chicken on the tacos

I always come here for an Italian beef when I’m in town. The same manager/owner it’s always here. They have the best Italian beef in the city. When I’m in town I come here it always buy two or more. I haven’t even tried other things in the menu. I’m sure it’s delicious. But I come here for Italian beef only, forget portillo’s. This place is better

I use to love this place. On 2/13/19, I ordered five chicken tacos with fries for my oldest daughter. When she bit into the first one there was a long strand of red hair. She was so mad and disgusted. I ran back up there and gave them the tacos back. At first he tried to give me $5 back knowing I had just left there 15 minutes ago and paid $8.50 for the 5 tacos and fries!!! I will never go back never……Hair nets not hats guys. Don’t talk over the food either.

I ordered from Maxwell’s in Calumet Park and indicated that I DID NOT want onions or peppers, with two cans of pop. When the order was delivered what did I get, my pork chops with onions and peppers and no pops. Not one can be both cans were not delivered. Of course when I tried to call them they DIDN’T ANSWER. NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR BUSINESS. If you can’t follow instructions, let someone who can prepare the meals.

Great customer service but the lack of comprehension on filling the order is the issue. I’ve ordered a few different things and every time i order no peppers on certain items or want something made a certain way my order is always wrong or missing something.
