Serves a good value meal of steamed chicken plus flavorful rice. Think of Hainan chicken.
Quite tasty and tender chicken including a trio of sauces that enhance the taste, I was told my the server that it’s best to mix them.
Beef dish available as well as a garlic noodles option.
Chicken Rice: hands down the most flavorful rice for chicken rice in LA! Juicy chicken with all the right condiments. Hard to find a place that does this simple dish justice like this one.
Fried Chicken Bowl:
PLEASE GET their fried chicken, my only regret is not getting more. Super crispy exterior with light flour/batter, juicy never dry meat, and a citrusy sauce to dip your chicken in. Each bite is so addictive…..

Chicken Rice: The chicken was very tender and juicy. Generous with all the condiments, the ginger scallion sauce is not oily and gives a more fresh/clean taste to the dish. The rice is one of the most flavorful chicken rice I’ve had in LA yet.
Fried Chicken: Fried to perfection. Thin and crispy all around, batter was well seasoned, so juicy on the inside.
I had:
1. Hainan chicken
2. Charsiu pork
3. Pepper beef
In this visit I had the Chinese Chicken Salad.Overall, this salad is a well-executed dish, perfect for those looking for a light yet filling meal. The combination of fresh vegetables, protein, and crunchy elements makes it a delightful choice for a healthy, flavorful lunch or dinner.
It’s a small, clean, minimalistic shop with public seating outdoors. Seemed to have a lot of to go orders which makes sense. We ate there though as I wanted to try this food hot and fresh out of the kitchen.
Service was extremely nice and friendly and they took care of us even though it’s not a full service restaurant. Really appreciated it.
Chicken plate: Get!!
The regular was smaller than I was expecting but when I took my first bites I had no complaints at all. Chicken was juicy and tender and when you try it with all the sauces, it’s just perfect. Each sauce has its own profile but I personally enjoyed the red one the most. The rice being cooked in that chicken broth also gave it a perfect hint of flavor. With a cup of broth on the side, this indeed satisfied my cravings for hainanese chicken. Almost felt like I was back at the hawker stands in Singapore.
Crispy chickens: Gett!!
Get the combo too because that corn will just make you happy. Nicely sweet and creamy, it’s so comforting. The chicken batter is just so amazingly crispy and crunchy and tasted so good. Better than almost any fried chicken I’ve had recently

Ordered the chicken plate to go. The owner was very nice and my order was ready in 5 minutes. He described the 3 different sauces and said to mix them together for the best flavor. The sauces and the rice were good but I did not care for the chicken.
First, I don’t eat chicken skin. When I saw the layer of what looked like chicken fat, I nearly gagged. I don’t eat skin unless it’s fried but this was boiled. Ok, easy to pull off! No worries
Second, I don’t eat chicken off a bone so when I found a few bones, I was done.
Very limited menu and Kinda pricy for chicken and rice so I won’t go back. Maybe I just don’t get it?
