Oh my goodness; I think I hurt myself. I never eat a whole breakfast burrito, but this Asada BB was so damn good I found myself devouring it down to the last bite. My husband says, “Neil Diamond good.” The burrito cost $10 and was served hot and fresh.
If you like spicy ask for their habanero hot sauce. It has an aromatic almost sweet flavor with a spiciness that lingers on your palette and will clear your sinuses. Super tasty.
This will be a regular stop for us while in Bend, OR.

The Barria Fries are loaded and enough for 2 to share unless you are super hungry. I recommend it. I’ve had their burritos also and they are a great choice too.

The food was delicious and was prepared quickly. It was my first time eating there and I certainly plan on going back. The service was excellent. Personnel inside the truck were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend visiting Max’s for a great meal.

Max’s Tacos!!!
Finally tried Max’s after sleeping on it for months. My bad… Wow, this $13 chicken burrito BLEW me away in it’s taste and size! Easily the best burrito I’ve had in Bend and reminiscent of my fav burrito’s in San Francisco/Mission.
My new favorite burrito in Bend, this thing is dangerous at my age. I should eat half and put the other half away for later, but I couldn’t…
The nice guy that took my order warned me about the orange sauce, it was the best of all 3 sauces….
Don’t sleep on them like I did, amazing burritos!

We ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito, the carnitas burrito and the carne asada tacos. EVERYTHING was great. Everyone was pleased with their food and we all loved the green salsa. They make it in house and we think it’s the best green salsa in town! We will definitely be going back!

Atmosphere is r because it’s just a food cart at a car wash. But I can tell you they have the best lengua in central Oregon. The only place better still around is off river road in Eugene. I am a fairly regular customer and turn on who I can to the place. Awesome breakfast burritos and tacos! Their fries are no joke either. If your were finally willing to try lengua it is what I would call the gold standard. Perfectly prepared every time. I cannot say enough good about this small family run business. If you are not happy with their door it’s definitely a “You” problem.

I stopped by Max Tacos and tried four tacos — birria queso, asada, lengua, and pastor — and every single one was fantastic. The flavors were rich and authentic, the meat was tender, and the birria queso was especially memorable. You can really tell this is a family-run business — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and proud of what they serve. The sauce was incredible, the kind that ties everything together perfectly.
Highly recommend Max Tacos if you’re looking for fresh, flavorful tacos made with care!

Super nice people running a WONDERFUL food cart. The only thing bigger than the portions are their smiles! Very similar food to the many street vendors my son and I experienced in Mexico City and Oaxaca this fall. Worth driving to if you’re in the mood for authentic comida Mexicana.

An absolutely stand-up establishment! Owners Umberto and Silvia are kind and quick, and their food is top notch, “hole in-the-wall” esque, and fresh. Hand made tortillas and salsas in house, with a perceptual salted habanero salsa k can’t get enough of. You won’t be wasting time or money at Max’s!

Burrito was great and good size for the price, but it’s all about the sauce. Their red and green sauce is delicious with a perfect level spice. I’ll definitely be coming back.
