We decided to try Max’s today for the first time and I will not be going back. I got the stuffed French toast with mold in the middle. No apology was given and I wasn’t asked if I wanted anything else. Clearly the stuffed French toast is not made fresh like previous posters have been told.

I ordered through Door Dash, and on my first swipe of a knife, i found there was mold in all four pieces of bread for my Stuffed French Toast. I took a bite of a part that wasnt moldy and I could taste thr grainy mold texture and the bread was super stale. I also ordered their biscuits and gravy, and it had a super strong astringent cleaning flavor.

This is one of our favorite places to grab a breakfast or lunch. We have gotten to know the servers and they are really friendly. The food is tasty every time and prepared fast! There seem to be a lot of takeout orders, too. They have a variety of favorites, especially known for their stuffed French toast.

I had a veggie omelette that was large, fresh and cooked right. The pancakes tasted like an OK mix. My friend had a skillet and thought it was great. Service was quick and friendly and even at a relatively busy time (noon Sunday) food was fast.

Tried this place for the first time after reading reviews. Breakfast food is great. Skillets are generous portions and the ingredients taste fresh. Not too greasy which is definitely better for my personal taste. Food was served very promptly after ordering. Plenty of parking, fairly easy access. Looking forward to trying more menu items.

A friend and I went here for breakfast for the first time. Greeted and sat right away. Super friendly atmosphere. I forgot our waitresses name but she was great. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict and it was delicious. My friend had the veggie omelette and she said it’s the best omelette she’s had. Prices were comparable to any breakfast joint these days. The coffee was good. We will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem. The breakfast is top notch and some of the best you can get in Jackson Mi. I always go for the stuffed French toast or pancakes. Today I decided to try out their lunch and ordered a cheeseburger and was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. I also love that they always give you a complimentary soup no matter the time of day or what your order consists of. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Jackson. -UPDATE- try the stuffed French toast

Staff is very rude to doordashers and people who order online to pick up! I will never give them my business!
To add to the rude comment they made- yes I had a doordash, which I picked up and delivered successfully..the male staff was yelling at customers and very rude! I stood up for a young black male who put an online order in and paid for! THEY were REFUSING to give him his order!!! His name was literally ON THE BAG! HIS PHONE SHOWED HE ORDERED AND PAID ONLINE! The staff, specifically the MALE STAFF screamed at me and disrupted his patrons in the restaurant! These “people” are RUDE AND DONT RESPECT “OUR PEOPLE ” …THEY USE US to make money to send back “home”…I as a AMERICAN MEXICAN WILL NOT TOLERATE THE DISRESPECT!!! I have been doordashing dashing since covid and NEVER experienced the disrespect that I did today! They say I have never been a patron to their establishment and thats a down right lie! NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM OR EXCEPT A DOORDASH THROUGH THEM!!! THEIR ESTABLISHMENT HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED TO DOORDASH FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR!!!! IT IS SAD THAT IT HAS COME TO THIS!
