Took my wife here for date night as we had heard a lot of good things about it from friends. It has a unique feel inside and our server was very friendly. We each ordered steaks and no dessert and after tip we had spent around $90 dollars. The stakes were good, but not memorable enough to say they were better than most other places we have been to. Not a lot of flavor without the onions and mushrooms on top.

Always excellent! Steaks are always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Large, fresh tossed salads, tasty soups, and nice assortment of sides and desserts. Drinks with dinner or upstairs in the bar are always great. Fish and chicken are crispy and well prepared, as are sandwiches. Kids menu selection is ample for even picky eaters. Wish I’d had room for appetizers this time. Impeccable, friendly staff and owners. Feels like family dinner every time.
If you want a white tablecloth, fine dining experience, this might not be the place for you. But if you want quality, no airs, flavorful food at a reasonable price, then you should give them a try.

The waitress was nice. I’m not being pessimistic just truthful. The salads were made to serve the barn animals, tasteless prime rib, and ribs needed a saw they were so tough. Very disappointed. Headed a waitress passing by the hostess area saying “the cook walked out, and they are in need of a dishwasher.”

Our waitress, Lisa was friendly and fun. She took made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the friend zucchini which came with horsey sauce, loved it. I ordered a chicken specialty sandwich and added lettuce, tomato & onion to it. Lisa also brought me some more of the horseradish sauce. It was great. I especially liked the French bread it was served on. We will definitely go back. We did not have room for dessert but it was offered. She also kept plenty of ice water on the table so our glasses never went empty.

So disappointed ☹️
A picture’s worth a thousand words and this is what they call a Rye Melt, I was soooo disappointed $15.00 – $17.00 I paid for the worst sandwich I’ve ever had, and I go to many places I’m also a private contractor and deliver food for a living and I’m a serious Google guide the waitress was awesome but the cook he/ she has definitely lost their Spark ya all need Gordon Ramsey to visit and I suggest a new cook who cares about appearance, the onions weren’t even grilled and for this type of sandwich the onions should be sliced a lot thinner, the burger was dry as the the Sahara desert and the Rye bread was barely grilled, the prices on the menu were shocking the best thing about my meal was the Miller lite I had and my husband agreed regarding his bud light and my granddaughter well one couldn’t complain with her dino nuggets !!! I was so disappointed I didn’t even touch my meal nor did I take the to go box the effort to make it correct was like one at all, technically my meal should’ve been on the house

This is sort of a romantic place, the lights are nice and dim. The prices are good especially for the quality and quantity of food you get. There is a place in the front to drop people off and plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Last time I was there, reservations were not accepted. In the evenings, you can pretty much expect a wait. If you have not been here, you need to go at least once.

Great food. Pickle chips and the Barn Ham sandwich was great. The taco sticks were way too hard tho.

Food was adequate, nothing special, seemed kinda pricey for the quantity and quality. On par with your average diner or bar type food. Our group was hoping for more with the 4.2 star rating at the time of our visit.
The way I see ratings is that a 3 star in meets expectations, a 5 means you needs to really be exceptional, and with having a 4 we expected some really good food and service.
They may have been understaffed, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it took forever to get service. Long time between drink and getting order taken, long time to get a check, etc.
Also, for a place that calls itself “food and spirits” they don’t have any alcohol for sale. Im guessing they lost their liquor license at some point. No beer or anything on the menu and the waitress confirmed that they only have soft drinks and coffee and tea.

Haven’t been there in years, probably won’t be back unless things change. Wanted prime rib but was over cooked, only well done was available. So I ordered steak, very tough no flavor so disappointed. This place could be a great steak house just need to make changes with the food. Wishing you great success.

We drove by this and just decided, why not, based on the aesthetics. It was wonderful! From food, to staff, to atmosphere, all around it’s an awesome little hidden gem, with a full bar I might add! Not a real long menu, but I myself like that! They had chicken dinners, steaks, seafood dinners, ribs, soups, and salads. I read inside that they don’t take reservations because they want a calm atmosphere for both the hosts and the guests, so it’s very laid back! I’d say most all the main dishes were about $20 and you get 2 sides with that!
I’d definitely go again ❤️
