This is a strip mall spot 2ith plenty of parking, with appx 24+ tables inside and a few outside, this greasy spoon appears to be a local favorite. Everything off the grill looks hot, fresh, and tasty!

The place has ceiling fans and AC going full blast to cool down the large crowd who love this spot. It’s non and most of the patrons are ordering breakfast. Maybe I screwed up? I’ll find out soon enough.

I opted for the double cheese pastrami burger and fries, and my boy went with the “Cali Burrito”. Pro tip – get them fries well done

My burger was very good, but the pastrami could have been less fatty, shaved leaner. The fries were the typical frozen fries. The Cali burrito was giant and very good.

The staff is very friendly and seem to know many of the patrons.
Mens room is a single stall, and was a little dirty.

This is a great restaurant if you’re looking for something with a hometown feel and a comfortable environment. Very good service, and the food comes out very quickly. Nothing over the top and very inexpensive.

I kind of got bait and switched. The menu photo posted online claimed to be a few months old but prices on the actual menu have increased 40-50%. My breakfast burrito was $13++. If it were a great burrito (it wasn’t) filled to the max with all the goodies (again, no) I wouldn’t have been so disappointed.
The taters were mushy, there was sporadic meat and cheese and the eggs were fine. I prefer mine with beans but that’s ok; I didn’t ask for them.

The place was empty and with the MASSIVE price increase I’m not surprised. I understand we are in inflationary times but as someone associated with the restaurant business, one needs to constantly assess costs and prices.

This is my first time in this restaurant …
So me and my wife and I went to get some breakfast, and omg, I ordered a breakfast pork chop plate, and my wife
chicken fried stake … my pork chops were burned and dry and really thin. The hash browns burned my wife fried stake was thought to chew the gravy taste really weird like not fresh …
For the price pls change ur pork chops to 1/2 thick and hash browns are fresh
The same for chiken Fried Stake and gravy

I ordered a simple burger with no cheese and they kept on getting it wrong. It’s understandable if mistakes happen, but what kepts throwing me off was when I’d send the good back, they didn’t remove the cheese or remake the order, rather they lazily scraped off the cheese while still leaving residue on it. By the third time I sent it back, they decide to put a whole slice of cheese again. At this point I’m pretty sure the establishment was just pulling a joke or something.
By the fifth time they sent out the order, it became apparent they weren’t capable of doing it right and I just ate the best they could remotely try to do.

My body’s not used to processing cheese and now I feel sick afterwards. Definitely not going to eat here and I’ll probably tell others about this place’s incompetence.

Amazing place! My dad has been taking me to this place since I was a kid! Never had a complaint from the hundreds of times I’ve ate here. Good homestyle food for an affordable price. Sorry I couldn’t take a better picture, we were already digging into it! 10/10.

After a long day at Coachella, we were looking for a good local spot outside the festival grounds—and Maxcy’s Grill hit the spot. It’s a solid, no-frills diner-style place that delivers exactly what you’d expect. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and the service was friendly. For what it is and where it is, Maxcy’s is a great choice if you’re in the area and want a satisfying meal without the crowds or high prices of the festival.
