Looking for some pizza or pasta quick and fairly priced? Come visit Max Pizza II in New Britain. Friendly staff and quick service! I got the ziti with meatballs and it was delicious! It can with soup, but I ate it before I realized I should be writing a review! LOL! It was also delicious. They have a nice clean restaurant and polite wait staff. It is definitely worth a try!

I would give it 2.5 stars if possible but I was extremely disappointed overall. I ordered a 16” blt with extra bacon and fries through slice. The fries were good but the blt had 1-2 slices of thin, soggy bacon on each piece (so MAYBE 6 total across 16” if I’m being generous). Even as the regular amount, this was extremely disappointing given that bacon is the main and only protein in the sandwich. If it wasn’t for the slice agent, I don’t think I would have gotten a refund because he had to go back and forth with them just get more than $5 back for that b.s. So shout out to slice for their assistance.

Thought I would give them a second chance. Ther prices online are totally different from in person and you won’t know until they charge ur card. Pizza was rushed and so were the garlic knots. Idk what happen over the years but they are getting worse. Only good thing is the customer service

I love Max’s pizza. I grew up in CT and moved to Ohio at 42z. The pizza in Ohio is nothing like Connecticut pizza. Every time I come back, I bring home a couple of pies and freeze them. It’s that good at Max’s. Ohio pizza is mostly chains and very inferior when it comes to pizza and Italian food. Sadly. It’s Marcos for us until I come back to my home state and die in pizza heaven at Max’s!

NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. Placed an order through uber eats, took an hour and a half food was ice cold, only got half my order. So I call uber the guy says that’s what they gave me even though my receipt was right there in the pizza box and you can clearly see I paid for a salad as well. So I call the restaurant she goes ya the other girl forgot to give it to him we’ll send it to you right now. I wait about 20-30 min thinking it’s on its way while the rest of my family eats. The guy calls me back and says no we’re too busy we’re not sending it to you because Uber refunded it. I had NO idea uber had already refunded it and now after all that time I still have NO FOOD! He goes you live all the way in Plainville. Like YES I ordered it through the app and I gave the girl my address when I called about the salad! They knew where I lived and I’m so glad you’re too busy with other customers while I sit here with no food!!!!!

I was at the restaurant recently and was treated very badly. I ordered food at around 8:25 pm. The restaurant door says they are open until 9 pm. At 8:42 pm, a waitress came up to my table and asked me to leave, saying they were closing. I told them the doorway said they were open until 9 pm. She insisted they were closing before 9 pm. I feel like I was treated unfairly, and I will not return.
