It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we will not be re-opening after the temporary closures due to COVID-19. So, first things first, thank you for the laughs and thank you for the unforgettable good times and memories you’ve given us. We’ve had some truly amazing guests over the years, and we’re sincerely disappointed to see this day come. The food was good. We wanted to sit outside since the weather was beautiful but that meant we sacrificed good service. The server was very nice but she didn’t have the opportunity to come out and check on us often as she had several tables indoors. It was a good visit overall though. Food was delicious and having a Sunday dinner outside was such a great way to end the day.

So the food was very good like usual. My wife got a cup of soup and when I saw It I even made a comment about the size of it. I told her to put it in a bowl just to see. The picture is of the soup put in a 8 oz bowl. Selling 3.5 to 4 oz of soup for $4 seems a bit extreme and just plain cheap.

We had the best experience. The food was good and the serve was on point. Someone needs to recognize Brett. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I’m not the easiest customer. I can never decide what to get no matter how many times I’ve been to a restaurant. But Brett was patient and helpful. If there is anyway to recognize him it should be done. Thanks again Brett for everything. You made my birthday dinner a great experience.

Enjoyed our luncheon at Max and Erma’s. The selections are reasonable in price; the food was very good. With family visiting, we asked to have our luncheon on the patio which was very accommodating for us. Service was good without being “pushy” or having to chase down a server. Very satisfied and I will choose Max and Erma’s again for dining in Washington.

I went here on a whim and what a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is very relaxed and waitresses were on the ball and friendly.
