Vada pav is worth the price and was tasty. Veg burger was also good. Tried eggless Tiramisu slice – delicious. Overall good experience.

They keep various eggless options in a slice and cake formats plus they take orders for customized cakes.

According to front desk rep, they can make cake order ready in short notice – same day – except Mondays. For Mondays, same-day order option is not available.

When you crave for some Indian snacks abroad and see some outlet, you get to try it. And that’s how we reached Mawa House, had some expectations but the experience was average. We had Paneer Puff and Veg Kathi Roll which were not value for money. The taste was okay. Parking is easily available.

Good place for a quick Indian snack. They have chaats, pavs, Kathi rolls, parathas, samosas and pastries.

They have a fresh bakery where you can pre order bakery items. They have a good amount of cake selection as well.

The parking is available without an issue. If it’s not too busy the service is fast. You can dine in or take out.

Recently they started PUFF Pizza’s they are really amazing.
I tried chicken puff pizza and it’s really flavour full. One pizza puff can serve for 2.

Visited Mawa House today and tried the pineapple pastry — it was absolutely delicious!
The cake was soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the care and skill that went into baking it.
Big appreciation to the baker for such a delightful treat. Will definitely be coming back for more!

I was told the low rating is because of ratings for previous owner. The food was so good that we went there two days in a row. Best items we tried were: chicken Kathi roll, Keema paratha, and chicken keema puff. The cakes were delicious too. Their pav bhaji could have more bhaji and less tomatoes but that’s forgivable.

I don’t know what is a hate about this place in Google reviews.
.
I have been wanting to go to this place for for almost a year I just could not get the time. Recently passed through I bought a small box of sweets.. I mean from the window you can definitely notice which sweet look fresh.
Julab chumchum and mango chumchum was really good?….
.
The sweets are really expensive. I have to say that.
.
The man behind the counter is very nice. I told him I don’t want any freebies or free treats. I will buy my sweets . Indians are very expensive to make, and if you don’t have a very good market, then it becomes very more expensive.

.

If you pay by cash there is slight discount. Cheers

I had the best cake of my life from this bakery two weeks ago. We ordered a large cake half pineapple half mango with cream frosting. HOWEVER…a huge mistake was made after I called to order two special order mango cakes with same cream frosting. I had a detailed conversation with the woman on the phone and explained to her what I had what I wanted. We talked about the cakes from the function, and she said she could create two smaller versions.
I went to pick up the cakes and I was given two cakes out of the case that were the traditional mango jelly topped cakes not the custom cakes I ordered.

I was really surprised by the mistake because like I said, I had a detailed conversation with a woman just the day prior. I didn’t think that I was getting random cakes out of the case and I didn’t sense any confusion in my discussion with her.
I was custom ordering cakes, which is why I made the phone call.

My issue lies in the fact that when I tried to explain what it happened the person behind the counter blamed me. He said I wasn’t “ specific” enough and basically insinuated that I had no idea what I was talking about. I am well versed in Indian cuisine. I asked him how much more specific could I be and he said I would’ve had to have stated cream…which I did.
I’m a person of integrity who appreciates the efforts of a small business so I sucked it up paid for the incorrect product, however, I know I didn’t make a mistake. I found the lack of customer service disappointing and the demeanor of the gentleman behind the counter uncouth.

The purpose of my review is less around the mistake and more around the customer service or lack there of. There was no effort to reconcile the error. I’m not a big jelly person, but hopefully I still like the cakes. Consumers beware- there’s a communication barrier with this business and zero problem resolution efforts.

If you get the right product I’m sure you’ll be very happy. This place has a lot of potential if the right people are facing the customers.

I had the chicken keema puff pizza at Mawa House and it was delicious! The puff crust was light and crispy, and the chicken keema was full of flavor. It was a nice mix of soft, crunchy, and spicy. I really enjoyed it and would love to have it again!

A decent place for Indian sweets and snacks. I tried the chicken kathi roll here. The quantity seems too less for the price. The black forest pastry was average. I also noticed that they make ordered cakes here. Maybe will give it a shot sometime. I liked the chicken puff. On the plus side, this place is spacious and easily noticeable while driving. I would have loved to see more variety in sweets.
