First time eating here tonight and I must say it was a success! My 5 year old Loved his Chicken, 15 year old tore his Chicken Philly sandwich up and my hubby ate every bite!! I haven’t eaten a steak this good since my daddy grilled it when I was little. Thank y’all so much! Will definitely be back. ❤️

Maw Maw’s Schoolhouse was such a fun atmosphere, we immediately thought it was charming and had the kind of friendly & welcoming staff you’d expect at a family owned southern restaurant! Our waitress, Terrie, had manners that MawMaw herself would be proud of..she even made sure to save us the last 2 German chocolate deserts! The food was absolutely amazing. Not just “good for a small town restaurant”..I mean good no matter if you were sitting in a fine dining atmosphere. Meat quality, portion size, fresh ingredients, and SEASONING our big group got a little of it all, from the Gin Trash, pork chops (best seasoned & most tender I’ve had), bayou ribeye, BBQ shrimp..10/10 on every dish we had!

I saw this local community restaurant in our area on Social Media today. It is located in and old Amish School House that was vacated when several Amish families moved out of the area. It is quaint and friendly. The owners and staff were polite, friendly, and efficient. The food was above expectations. We had Shrimp & Grits and Pork Chops. The salads were so fresh and tasty. Oh my goodnes. We were so pleased when the food tasted even better than it looked, and it looked delicious. It was a refreshing visit, an experience we will not forget and we shall return. Maw Maw’s School House would be worth a drive into Pontotoc County. Come early and visit the active Amish Community and then have Dinner at Maw Maw’s. Thank you for a wonferful evening.

Great little out of the way place for some home cooking. Neat atmosphere. Found it by accident, but I’ll return on purpose.

Fresh handmade patties on the patty melt.

Quaint, out of the way local jewel in Randolph, MS. Old Amish school house that has been converted into a 20 seat restaurant. Good food, great service. Family run. Daily specials along with a menu. Family has kept the Amish feel of the school house. Worth the drive.
