The service was great our waiter was super friendly.
Some of the food I tried was-
Minnesota rolls- they had a good flavor didn’t taste much of the walleye. The sauces that were paired with it were pretty good once sauce had a slightly spicy taste to it but wasn’t bad at all. This is still an appetizer I’d recommend.
Buns- The buns were really good nice light and fluffy taste to them.
Grilled Chicken Sandwich- The sandwich was okay wasn’t a fan of the cheese on it but that’s a personal preference. I thought they had pretty big cuts of onion on the sandwich and the tomato looked like mush. The chicken had a nice flavor to it but in a way fell apart.
Fries & House made Ranch- These were nice and crispy. Had a good flavor too them. They gave you a good portion of ranch not some tiny cup which I liked cause I used it for my sandwich as well as fries. The ranch had a nice flavor to it!

We hosted my mom’s retirement party at Mavericks, and it was absolutely perfect. Adam and Jeffrey provided exceptional service to our group of 40. They were attentive, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire evening. They consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made hosting stress-free and enjoyable.
The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was ideal for conversation and celebrating such a special milestone. We’re so grateful to the team at Mavericks for helping us create a memorable night for our family. Highly recommend for any special event!

Came to St Cloud with my family to try this new place. Our ribs were really black, burnt, and hard couldn’t cut them with a knife. Pretzel was hard and cheese was to spicy. Burger was really greasy and burnt. We waited an hr for food. Our server came back half hr later. Poor service

Great service! Our waitress Chelsea was awesome(probably one of the best we have ever had). We ordered new york strip, which was cooked perfect. My wife ordered Tuscan chicken, which was also amazing. This place was not busy–I have no idea why. (It was 5:30pm on a Saturday) people don’t know what they are missing!

Great place! Bartender was awesome, general manager was awesome! We had a great time. They also were able to offer me gluten free options which I was not expecting. Very great experience and will be back when we’re in town!

Went to eat an early dinner here around 3:30pm and the place was empty. It’s a very nice bar and grill and is very well kept. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Their service was also very good as well. The not so good came once the food came out. We started out with a “Minnesota roll” that was a type of egg roll that had walleye in it. The walleye was very fishy tasting. Soon after we got our dinners. My gf got “the maverick steak” and I got the blackened maverick fettuccine. My gf’s steak was cooked to her liking but was one the toughest steaks I’ve ever seen/tasted. With her meal she got chicken noodle soup and I’m not sure what exactly it was, but it had no noodles what so ever in it.
My fettuccine was very bland and really had zero taste to it. And the steak that was in it, I could only taste the char. I know it’s “blackened” steak but there’s a difference between that and burnt crispy.
All the foods preparations looked nice, but was just really a big miss on taste and quality for us. I don’t think I will be back here nor would I recommend it. For being a “steak house”, I had a lot more expectations on a good cooked steak.

The Old Fashioned was not good, too much ice and bitters. Waitress was great, shrimp appetizer was great, steak (ribeye) was just okay, no need to take back but just eh. Bartender just stared at us waking out, strange, good time to say thank you?

Lady bartender didn’t seem to not want to come back being it was toward the end of her shift. It was 1:45 pm on a Friday and there was only 6 people in the place. Shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes to place an order because someone is lazy.

Delicious meal that started with the Steak Nachos. If I hadn’t already ordered a full meal, I could’ve just stopped right there.
They are one of the highlights of the driving trip I was on and planned my return trip on trying to get back to this place just for the Steak Nachos! They were *THAT* good!
The rest of the meal didn’t disappoint at all, but it’s the steak nachos that are seared into my memory. Can’t wait to route my next trip through this town just to make a stop!
