I am positively impressed. Wouldn’t have expected such a nice menu. From fancy surf&turf to simple burger w fries. We had fried oysters as appetizers and they were really good the food in general was fresh & delicious. I had salmon salad. The fish was cooked perfectly
There are skills in the kitchen, it’s definitely not an ordinary sports bar.
Haven’t had a cocktail there yet but I’ll definitely be back to review them too

Fast friendly service. The food was fresh and delicious. The meats were tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy goodness topped with bacon bits.

I’ve been living in the AV my whole life, raised in Rosamond and I’m just a guy who likes my steaks. So I’ve been looking for that steak place and I’m happy to say I have finally found it.
I’ve tried other local steakhouses, all the chains, you name it and nothing had me drooling like this place. All I had was the Sirloin, test the waters and see how good it really is and I can not wait to go back and order that Ribeye. The green beans and mashed potatoes were absolutely incredible as well and the serving size was just right.
Mavericks got some of the best steak in the AV, super friendly and nice staff as well, and a warm environment. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won’t regret it.

My Dad and I knew we’d return and we thought why not shortly after a month we give it a whirl?
We came back, staff was just as friendly as last time. Took our orders immediately and I was upgrading from the last time I was in with what I got. I wanted go with their Ribeye this time(picture 2, with the corn on the cob), knowing that they could cook a mean steak and they delivered again. It had this real mean but not too harsh spice to it that was just right and had my taste buds doing dances. The green beans complimented that little kick from the steak spectacularly and was truly another phenomenal meal. The corn on the cob was nothing crazy, just good Ole classic.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I went here, came back a month later and it was just as great and friendly. Will be a regular now whenever my Dad and I just want to go relax for the night. Cheers

Went to Maverick Steak house for my B-day. Had to try the Tomahawk Steak. Fantastic!!!! Did not disappoint. My son and I have been going here for that last few months and they have never disappointed us, service or food. The steaks are perfectly cooked and there is something about their seasoning that brings out the flavor in the steaks. Thanks for the great B-day dinner! See ya again soon.

I came in for the soft re-opening a few weeks ago and have been going back ever since. The appetizers and drinks are great and not overpriced, and the burgers are always a win. If you’re ever in the area, definitely go and check the bar out at this place

This is a hidden gem in the Mojave Desert! They have a very high standard when it comes to the quality of their food, including its presentation. I don’t think I’ve ever had better mashed potatoes in my life.
