3/29 update. Tried them again. Ordered what I normally love which is the eggplant rollatini and garlic knots. They have new people or something because it was not good! Rollatini lacking flavor and barley any mozzarella cheese on top. The garlic knots were stale, looks like it was overly reheated and soaking in olive oil. Definately done!

I ordered an extra large pizza from Maurizio’s. I then added some wings on a separate check. When I got the pizza, the wings were left back at the shop (first time this ever happened). Not only were the wings delivered quickly they also included some zeppoles for our trouble! Their representative Mauro was such a classy gentleman I thought he was the owner. Lol. Thank you Maurizio’s for having the customer come first!

I am trans / lgbtq and I can say this is a friendly place. Every time I’m in there no one bats an eye and the service is fantastic. They have generous portions and the food is very good especially for the price.

We have loved Maurizio’s for a long time. Tonight they stepped up a niot h higher. For all my gluten free friends, when you order a GF pie you get a clean separate pizza cutter, so there is no cross contamination. Totally grateful and wowed by this!!! It is a little small town Italian restaurant. Small is not bad since it’s like a little Italy and more. The menu is traditional and innovative. The pizza is top notch and the other food too! Worth a try if you’re in the Neptune area…. grandma’s pizza, shrimp scampi pizza, plain pizza….all yummmmmm!

On June 8th I was craving a sub and so I decided to order a sub. When I received the sub the lettuce and tomatoes were old and wilted and the bread was hard. When I called the restaurant I spoke with Collette who rather then assist me she put me on hold then came back and said she walked to the kitchen and said that she doesn’t know what I’m talking about because the lettuce and tomatoes looks crisp and fresh thus insinuating that I was lying. I insisted that was not what I received in my order so I asked if I could send a picture , her response to seeing the picture was that she would talk with the owner. I still have not heard anything from anyone and that was in June. I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times and never had a problem like this, I honestly don’t think I will be coming back.

Food and service has become terribly awful here. Have frequented this restaurant for years and will no longer be ordering. Ordered a pizza and appetizer , pizza was severely undercooked and appetizer cold and sloppy. Called back about my pizza and was told the driver would come pick it up and then they would get me a new one in about 45 minutes. Also was told they will not give credit. There are to many good pizza places in the area that taste great to waste time and money here.

ordered from here as I’m told the food is pretty good. Received a salad that’s was full of brown leaves. the solution at 9:45 pm was to offer to bring me a new one that would take 45 minutes. I was advised that bc that was super late they could offer a credit of $4. okay, whatever—fine. still can’t enjoy my dinner tonight, but on principle they were trying to make good. Went in tonight after ordering another dinner and was met with reluctance, especially from the woman with the long blonde hair behind the counter. Prob the person in charge but instead of talking to me directly she whispered to the cashier. I asked for a full salad minus the $4 difference. Went back and forth about $2. The cashier (nice Spanish guy) did what he could under her watchful eye to rectify the situation. Hmmm … idk. I prob won’t be back. #dobusinessbetter. update: he put a special dessert in the bag. that was nice.

One of the best pizzerias around. Their sauce is delicious! You can buy a slice which is quite a generous portion. Try their chicken noodle soup… it delicious! Definitely a place to try.
