Small scale, personal atmosphere with good food & great wait staff. This has been my Dad’s favorite pizza place my entire life, I’m 37. Their square cut pizzas have everything we want, I like the crispy triangle shaped outside pieces, my Dad likes the stacked high with toppings middle pieces, everybody wins! He always orders the 747 so there’s enough to take home for later. We took him there again today for Father’s day. 7 of us chowed down on the 747 & there was still enough left for Dad to snack on later that night & the next day! Great place, great pizza!

The best pizza with a lot of toppings and fast service. Well I have to edit my review based on the pizza today. We ordered a meat lover’s deep dish and the dough was not done and we ordered with extra cheese and we ultimately took it back because it did not have it. The good thing was that the remade it but the dough was still not done so for that I am dropping my 5 star rating to a three.

Called to place an order for a meat lovers pizza and garlic cheese bread. Told it would be 30 min. Ok no problem. Just got off a double shift at work and go in and pay for it. Told it would be 10 min. 25 minutes later they hand me my order. Get home and it’s a sausage pizza. I tried to call them but no one answered. Drove back and explained what happened. The girl said you only paid for a sausage. Well that’s funny because when the order was read back it was for a large meat lovers pizza. No sorry let me make it right or anything. I requested my $ back and went to Pizza hut. Paid a little more but it was right and didn’t have to wait almost an hour to get it. I won’t be going back!!!!

We used to love going here. About 2 years ago the staff changed. Now our orders are consistently incorrect. Last visit we paid for a pitcher and the soda machine stopped working. We were not offered a refund but told that we could get 1 can of soda each with no refills which defeated the purpose of getting the pitcher.

I like Maurizo’s pizza but will never go there again.
I’ll start by saying I love to support local businesses but unfortunately Maurizo’s customer service is lacking. We ordered a pizza with different ingredients on each half. On one side was supposed to be pepperoni and black olives. Instead, what we got was green olives. Mistakes happen, and there is definitely room for grace. We just wanted it to be made right. A half refund, some kind of store credit, something to say “we messed up and want to make it right”. We alerted the north store of the issue and they requested we bring it back. Unfortunately we felt we were too far away for that to make sense and the employee asked for our phone number so that the owner could call and work something out. We did not receive a call back.
We settled on taking the pizza back the next day. My wife ate one piece of her half taking off the green olives that were underneath the cheese. I ate about half of my side of the pizza. I brought the pizza back into the store and the workers called the owner at the Wabash store who said, “black olives, green olives, they’re both olives” and would not give us any kind of credit as that was not their policy. If we had brought it back that night and only ate one piece they would replace it. We left the north store and my wife called the Wabash store to speak to the owner. Alex said the owner was not there even though the north store had apparently just spoken with him. My wife explained to him exactly what happened and he said to let him speak with the kitchen and see if they knew what was going on. He came back on the line and explained the same policy. She explained that we were not going to wait another 30-35 minutes for the pizza and drive another 25 minutes round trip for their mistake, that’s why we’re asking for at least a credit even if it’s just for her half of the pizza. He explained that they would not do anything for us.
It’s just a pizza. It’s just a handful of dollars. It’s not even about a pizza, really. Nobody at the north store even apologized for the mistake. But if they can’t make right a mistake outside of really unconvincing us, I just can’t eat there anymore. I guess I’ll stick to the chains.

Order wasn’t ready until 35 minutes after quoted time. Got there said pizza was ready but nor breadsticks, would be ready in 2-3 minutes, 35 minutes later they gave me my order. Gave me an extra order of breadsticks. When I got the order home breadsticks were half baked and doughy, pizza was barely warm from setting so long. Definitely not worth the extra tip I gave them when I first got there.

Great tasting pizza. Only issue is the dinning room needs a good cleaning and or updating. Ceiling fans are all covered in dust and webs, also HVAC vents were full of dust and webs. Great pizza but the dinning needs a boost in appearance.

We ordered a Maurizio’s Special Pizza and it was the worse pizza I have ever eaten in my whole 57 years of life. Not only was it raw in the middle but where was the meat? Every slice might have had one piece of sausage and one piece of pepperoni…I say might. I am not a fan of canned mushrooms. Beside all that there was just no sauce anywhere on that pizza. I also ordered 6 chicken wings that came straight from the freezer and nuked. Never again will I ever spend money in this joint
