You are friendly greeted as you enter.
Right away you chips and salsa which are very good. I was surprised because most bring kind of can salsa. Guacamole is freshly made.
Been soup was good. Not great but good. The birria looked good too. I didn’t taste it but it looks good.

Been living in San Dimas area for around 7 years now and finally got in to eat here last week. Was greeted by the Owner, Mauricio himself, and he was most courteous and helpful. Our Dinner was very good as the ‘wet’ style Chicken Burrito was good sized and quite tasty to boot. He even brought out a water dish for our Service Dogs as we dined in the outdoor Cabana Area . Will be back soon for sure.

This restaurant offers just the right blend of good food and view. You can see the San Gabriel Mountains close enough to feel them. The menu offers a variety of choices. The prices are affordable. The portions are more than satisfying. The service was welcoming. There is indoor seating and a covered outdoor patio. There is plenty of parking. They also are found on Uber Eats.

This review is based solely on my own experience at the restaurant. I felt like I stepped into a restaurant in Mexico. Very authentic from the atmosphere, decor, music, employees, and the food.
Service is first rate and my food came out really fast. The 2-employees working the floor were friendly and attentive in the manner that makes you feel like they know you and like having you there.
There are about 9-booths and 8-tables including 3 that seat 6. They also have a large outdoor patio, but I didn’t count the tables.
It wasn’t crowded when I was there. Maybe 15 people inside and 6 in the patio. A constant flow of people picking up take out orders.
I ordered the combination plate of a chicken enchilada, crispy taco, chicken flautas, rice, refried beans, a little bit of salad, and a little bit of guacamole.
Portion size is just right. Not too large, and not too small. For my taste, the quality of the food is excellent. Overall, a great experience.

This restaurant is located off the famous Route 66, but it is not easy to find, since it is not right by the street, but in a small shopping mall. When I first drove there, I was turning too soon, so I missed the restaurant. Well, if you come here for the first time, then you may have the same problem. However, the food is good and authentic. I ordered a mixed seafood soup. It was a little bit too spicy for me. I saw there were a lot of items on the menu, and it all looked delicious. It was a warm and welcoming dining experience, and the view outside was pretty too. However, the prices are certainly not cheap, or not as listed on the Google Map, so you may want to keep in mind.

My husband and I usually agree on how much we like a particular restaurant, but in this case, we had different opinions. I LOVED the ambience of this charming Mexican Restaurant with outdoor seating.The water glasses were of generous size, which is always a plus. The service was amazing! The fajitas were GOOD, but, in my opinion, not GREAT. My husband loved them though. Since this is MY Yelp Account, I am dropping review to 4 Stars. We had a really good time dining here.

Mauricio’s is a family-owned, family-oriented local favorite. Mauricio and his family run the place and share the usual Mexican staples with the community. From enchiladas to cocido and everything in between, Mauricio’s offers something for every palate. On weekends, they offer menudo with all the fixings. Also notable are some of the lesser-known favorites, including potato tacos, perfect for vegans (sans cheese) and tortilla soup. They also serve vegetable soup and yummy chips and salsa. The two standard salsas are not spicy but the Habanero salsa hits the spot if you want a kick!
Weekends are packed, especially since they offer breakfast all day long.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is NOT it… Their food is more texmex. Their rice was overcooked and heavily seasoned with cumin. The street taco was served with no lime, salsa, or radishes. Their chips and salsa were just a watered down tomato sauce with huge amounts of onions. The fajitas were basically onions and bell peppers with no flavor. The plate wasn’t even sizzling. They’re way overpriced for what is served. The only positive was that their service was fast. The server didn’t come check on us, not 1 time.
