My husband wanted to try them. My son enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and fries. The fries had good texture. The ribs didn’t look like it but they were pull off the bone tender. My son enjoyed the strawberry shortcake. Before I knew it the banana pudding I was eating was gone even though I meant to share it with my husband. The fried okra was crispy and tasted good. My husband loved the barbecue. He wanted to go because they have mustard based barbecue. It is not something I am used to but was good. The only down to the food is my sweet potato fries were not crispy but very limp.

Good, not great. Hush puppies were excellent. Pulled pork was very good. Golden sauce was ok. Did not like the hash. Very friendly staff. Just fine for a quick lunch on the road.

If I could give a negative review I would. The more I think about it the more disappointed I am. I ordered from Door Dash 2 sides 2 meat. For anyone whos saying well I ordered from Door Dash and that may have been the problem Well here are the facts. My order was confirmed at 1:41 and delivered at 2:04. I live close to the restaurant. The ribs were EXTREMELY COLD. I was expecting it to fall off the bone. Apparently other people reviews shows that their food is cold even when dining in. I ordered hot wings and they were also COLD, rubbery. The hot wings were not spicy what so ever! The food tasted as if it were a day old and reheated. The strings beans are the big string beans and it had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR NOR SEASONING! Cold also! Hush puppies were warm and was some what tasteful. The Only thing that was good was this golden sauce; not sure if they have a name for it but that was appetizing. Maurice’s BBQ I’m a business owner. My guest leave reviews. Please read yours and improve. Please take this negative experience and turn it around. Please stop reheating food and serving it for the next day. I know reheated food when I taste it. Im so disappointed! Ugh! A total waste of $27.03. I could have spent it elsewhere.

Rice was dry and nasty, fries were soggy and nasty. The kids barbecue rib was really dry and grizzly, he couldn’t eat it. The chicken strips were dry, but OK, macaroni and cheese was OK.
Total total rip off. Next time I’ll just make mac & cheese and chicken strips at home for under 10 bucks. Over half the meal was thrown out.

BBQ at Maurice’s is always good. I tried the fried okra and it was excellent. Just sorry we don’t have a Maurice’s closer to us. This one looked like a hole in the wall, but had great food and excellent service. Plus it was clean!

First let me say I’m more of a dry rub barbecue person and this is a mustard based barbecue, which was a first for me out of a restaurant. I ordered a rib plate take out. The barbecue was good but a little to sweet for me. The restaurant itself was small more of a drive through than a eat in, very little parking. The people were very friendly and helpful since this was my first visit. I would recommend you go and judge for yourself since this isn’t really my style of barbecue.

I got 2 large rib dinners with okra and Mac and cheese. It was great!! The staff that work here are very polite and fast. Me and my wife love coming here to see Matt and Mena! We have stopped by every Saturday or Sunday for the past 3 years and they treat us very well. See y’all next weekend!!!

Ridiculously overpriced. The BBQ is not made fresh on premises. Rather, it is sent from the primary food processor to the satellite locations, refrigerated, heated, and served. You can get the same quality in your grocery store for a fraction of the price.

That’s all we can say about this place. It’s the worse Bessengers we’ve ever experienced. Frozen onion rings, really !! Nothing but the sandwich said Bessengers. Never again. Outside restroom, no way.

I ordered the brisket and chicken. My brisket plate had hardly any brisket which consisted half of fat. The chicken was dry and seemed like it had been reheated. I’m definitely not a picky eater, but this food just appealing at all to me.
