Stopped just before closing time but the workers were very courteous. If you love to eat ice cream, the coal region is a great choice!! Good prices for good sized servings of ice cream. May have to try their food later in the week during our visit here.

Hands down the best homemade ice cream I’ve ever had! All the flavors are good, but the bittersweet is their best signature flavor. Don’t wait until the end of the week, though, as they tend to run out of flavors before the next batch is ready!

I could cry. I grew up eating this ice cream Bittersweet since the late 1960’s. My parents also gre up on it eating it since the mid 1950s. I live in NJ and making a trek to Pa to see relatives and usually bring a few containers back. Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star rating but had to so it would allow me to write a review. Came from North Carolina to visit family.and friends and was.so looking forward to having bittersweet ice cream and almond joy my favorites. When I arrived at 4pm on a Monday afternoon the door was locked,there was a kid behind the cou terminal and he said they were closed. Thw hours that were advertised was 11am to 8pm daily. Very disappointing and will never come back!!!

Wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of the place. We got a milkshake and some Ice cream, which were ok. I’ve had much better, but it wasn’t terrible. The staff was very nice and the portions were good. Hours were a little funny because of lack of staffing, but I don’t blame them for that. I went once…probably won’t be back.

Great homemade ice cream they make homemade bittersweet ice cream by the tubs it is very popular in town and they also make decent breakfast but I would really only go there for the ice cream my son can get a kid’s cup and the ice cream is only $2 a scoop!#! They also make sundaes milkshakes etcetera

Excellent service, staff is very courteous and attentive! Bbq burgers and curly fries were made perfect and very tasty! Parking lot and handicapped accessible! Great place to eat and for fabulous tasting ice cream!

First time eating there and not the best experience. They would have amazing food I believe but everything was freezer burnt. Place seemed filthy especially the cooler to the left when you first walk in. Staff was very nice. If not for them I’d give 0 stars . Well 1 since that’s the lowest we can give

Had California cheese burgers. Taste was very good, not frozen patties. Ice cream is worth the stop alone. Because we’re in Pa., we eat ice cream every month. Enjoy.
