I tried this place out for the first time on 2/22/26. Within about an hour of eating the spicy tuna and octopus poke bowl, I instantly experienced a plethora of allergic reaction like symptoms. (I don’t have any seafood nor food allergies). It was so bad, I had to check into the ER the same night. Come to find out, I was experiencing Scombroid Fish Poisoning, which is caused from spoiled/contaminated fish, like tuna. I tried calling to speak with management today for a refund and to address the matter, but there was no answer and couldn’t leave a voicemail.

I will never step foot inside Maui Poke again. They have Very little scoops for very little amount of toppings for not so little prices. And Very Poor Customer Service. This place opens at 11:00 a.m. Myself and another customer both arrived and entered Maui Poke at approximately 11:07 a.m.
There were two of us waiting to place an order. The employee stated give him a couple of minutes. So we waited and waited…. T
he the first customer gave up on waiting at 11:17 a.m. Meanwhile the employee went to the back and started cleaning pots and pans. I walked out at 11:30 a.m. without ever given a chance to order. They rather clean pots and pans than helping their first two customers of the day.
I ended up going to Stater Bros. and ordered my Poke Bowls there with about double the main seafood topping . For three dollars less per Poke Bowl. Plus the Sushi chefs gave me service with a smile and wished me a Happy New Year! Maui Poke paid more attention to working in the back than taking foods orders.

I found this spot a few months ago and it’s great! Way better than other poke spots. So much food for the price and quality is always so fresh. I love getting lunch with my family here , I recommend for sure.

This is a new place, I think this is the only location. This wasn’t good at all.
I went in there and was hoping to find a new poke place that would challenge my favorite one at The Marketplace. Prices were reasonable, but it’s no comparison.
The staff was cold and borderline rude. I can get past that easily, everybody has an off day once in a while. But when you’re new, at a new shopping center, you have to go the extra mile to make customers feel welcome and present your place as an inviting location.
As I went through the bar ordering my ingredients, I kept asking the lady to “please add more.” She huffed and puffed each time, to the point where I stopped and I just stared at her with an expression of “are you serious?” I asked for edamame beans, for example.
She added 4 of them and was ready to move on, I’m not joking, four edamame beans. I asked her to add more a few times and as you’ll see in the picture, it was hardly a serving. It could be because the place in general is cheap and they use tiny spoons, but everything was a struggle to order.
The sauce was watered down and flavorless. This was all for $14. I most likely will not be coming back here.

Came here for dinner. Got 3 scoops sushi portion. The sauce selection was great. Don’t get the spam as one of your protein. You get only a thin slice of it. It did not fulfill my spam fixing. All the veggies, toppings and sauce combined made it an excellent meal. I would definitely come back.

Portion was okay, could have definitely had a bit more in there. Server was just taking an order, no enthusiasm or warmth. Very clean place and tidy.
Room to improve: Better service and bigger portions needed for the $17.
