1/7/26 Called in for an order pickup around 6:45pm was told the order will take 20min.. paid receipt shows 7pm transaction when I arrived. Waited and waited.. 2 couples walked in just before me and yet they all got their food. When I asked for my order, the guy told me there was a lot of orders ?? What?! There was no one in the place, except for 1 couple.
I finally got my food at around 7:20pm.

Food is okay.. not as good as before. Over priced and the waiting time… is unbelievable.

i like to get their katsu curry ($16.49) and i ask for a side of steamed cabbage and they always oblige… they give about 3 strips of katsu… and 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of macaroni… but i like to just ask for all rice, no macaroni… i can dip almost every bite of katsu in the curry… the curry they give is good…

one time i got the bbq short ribs, but i wouldn’t get it again because it was too expensive and not good value like the katsu curry…

How yall forget the cabbage in my Hawaiian bowl after I confirmed that cabbage came inside of the bowl?

It’s cabbage rice and chicken. You gave me double rice (maybe you were out of cabbage) but the lack of notice is unacceptable because I would’ve changed my order

Hours show they close at 8:00 PM. I walked in at 7:50 PM and the door was open, the lights were on and there were two customers seated at tables eating. The person working there tells me “We’re closed”. I said why is the door unlocked ? No response. Looked like the worker didn’t want to be bothered with serving a customer 10 minutes before closing. I hope the owner knows this is what his worker is doing. I will never patronize this business.

I didn’t care for the service and I thought their pricing was high compared to other Hawaiian food restaurants. I asked for vegetables in my bowl for which she charged extra which was ok; except, she charged amor $3 for two pieces of broccoli. The spam musubi was good and their combo plate with ok. Not on my list of places to revisit.

Musubis are huge and really great here, with the exception of the Portuguese sausage one. All other musubis, like spam, katsu, fish, are great. The sausage one was just underwhelming and the meat portion is smaller compared to all the other ones.

Overall, not terrible but overpriced for Hawaiian BBQ which wouldn’t be that bad if the meat quality wasn’t so substandard. Mushy rice and decent macaroni salad.
