I ordered garlic shrimp as they call it, they cooked shrimp frozen; outside of shrimp is burnt but inside is cold moist and taste old. I would not recommend hawaiian garlic shrimp if you plan to eat. Food there is expensive they should prepared well . Also garlic taste like those you finds at longs drugs store “not fresh garlics”

Hotel is just dandy. However, the dinning room is not food or cocktail ready for clients. Had a not so tasty cocktail followed by the pasta shrimp Alfredo that had a sour after tast. After 3 bits my tummy turned and I sent it and my partners food back. Now it’s an hour later and I have yet to stop belching and my gut is still turning. Again hotel dandy, food bad.

It seemed like they were really short staffed. We stood at the door for a while before anyone noticed us, eventually we were sat at a table and given menus. It took even longer for someone to come nack and take our orders. We chose this place because we thought there would be a buffet that the hotel had advertised happened daily. but apparently it only occurs on holidays now. While they took our order another family was sat down. They got their food before we did and being so close to the kitchn we could here that they didnt even see our order yet. Slowly our food came out. Cold, cooked wrong. The clam chowder rastes like the progresso can but watered down. The steak was cooked well done when we asked for medium rare and also didnt taste like it was seasoned. I felt bad for the workers who were there because they were constantly apologizing for everything.

Ended up not eating here for the breakfast buffet. It was simply five portable food trays with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes etc. And one tray of mixed fruit. Was not impressed enough to stay and eat.
