I’ve always been nervous to stop in. It seems like a place you only stop if you know people. However we wanted something to eat and it was on the way home.
Best. Decision. Ever!!!! Matty himself happened to be working and he went above and beyond to welcome us. He and his cook were attentive and kind.
I recently had surgery and it’s hard for me to get around but since there are no steps everything was very accessible for me.
We had Cajun shrimp chowder which was delightful and of course chicken wings. Food was amazing. My drink was always full and Matty made an excellent recommendation for a cocktail to pair with my chowder.
It kind of felt like coming home to the family you never knew you had. We will for sure return. Matty, sir, you are indeed a top notch business owner who goes above and beyond to accommodate your guests!

Went to Matty’s for the first time because they had good reviews, especially for the wings. Unfortunately they were lies in my opinion. First off, the food was not that good. When we walked in, the atmosphere seemed negative, like the employees didn’t want to be there. We had to wait 20 minutes just to put our order in for dinner and drinks. When our food did finally arrive our wings were cold and dry. Our server/bartender was very inattentive, not sure if he was the owner because his name was Matty, given that your in the business is to make your customers happy and give them great service (food and drinks), but the exact opposite happened. How are you in that type of business and treat people like that is beyond me. I had went there with a few friends to show them a good time, but it was far from that, very disappointed in every aspect. In closing, which really made me the most upset was that one of my friends is disabled, and they (our server) made derogatory comments toward them, which I cannot repeat in this review out of respect for all people that have some sort of disability. Everybody deserves to be treated with respect. I hope Matty’s can change the way they operate their business because right now they are very disrespectful to everyone with any disability or anybody.

I had an incredible burger. Maybe even the best I’ve had in a restaurant. Juicy, beefy and perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed very crispy tater tots. The tots were a bit salty but so good.

Haven’t been there in a while but we were in the neighborhood and stopped for a beer. The bartender greeted us as we walked through the door(I think his name was Matty). We sat at the bar and ordered two miller lites which were both ice cold. My husband and I weren’t planning on eating but the table behind us had wings and they smelled amazzzzinggggg! We had a couple more beers and an order of crispy med wings and they did not disappoint. Hope we are back in that area soon to stop again!

The definition of a local spot. Feels like the kind of place that has been around forever and doesn’t change because it doesn’t need to. We tried three different kinds of wings and they were all amazing. The Matty’s BBQ were my favorite. But the 7 pepper rub was a nice touch on some mediums. Prices are super reasonable too. I wish that I lived here so this could be my local bar.

Omg, this is such a total hidden gem of a place! Don’t let looks fool you – Marty’s has some amazing food!! The fries were fresh cut and so delicious, and the pot roast sandwich really is great! Definitely don’t drive past this place if you’re in the area! Our server was super nice and attentive too.

Went after a Monday Sabers game. Called ahead and ordered wings. Got there a little late due to traffic. Bartender was awesome. She gave us a shot for our first time there and the place is EXACTLY what you look for in a dive bar. Will 1000% be back. The wings were a solid 9/10. Would recommend.

This place is not a dive bar. Yes they categorize themselves that way but they have great food at a great price. Their burgers weigh at least a half pound probably more, drinks are super cheap and the atmosphere and staff is awesome. Love this place it’s a new regular for me
