Was craving a Smash burger and matty G’s did not disappoint. There were so many options to choose from! The patties were nicely charred and perfectly seasoned. The buns were soft and fluffy and never got soggy. In addition, service from Joseph and Tyler was very warm and welcoming! Will definitely be coming back!!

Highly recommend! Burgers were delicious and served quickly. I would go with the dipper fries, garlic fries also delicious. Our server Shira was fantastic, she made it easy to want to come back. Lots of TVs and the games are on. We also had the desert which was awesome! Fried cookie dough and ice cream.

I love Matty G’s! It’s a neighborhood favorite. The food is delicious and ample! You won’t leave hungry. I got the Triple Crown and the garlic fries. Washed down with a cold beer! Joseph is the best! He’ll treat you right.

I didn’t expect the cold crab salad sandwich to be so freaking good, it was very flavorful and the bread was good as well. My husband had the hotdog and he said it was amazing, we will definitely be back.

Live in the neighborhood and I’ve been meaning to try Matty G’s for awhile. Finally tried it with my Wife. We ordered the foot long chili dog w sweet potato fries and classic burger w fries. The burger was excellent. Chili dog was solid. Sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had.
The service was the highlight of the visit. Our server Joseph was relatively new, but did a great job throughout our visit, including playing bartenders because we arrived before the regular bartender that day. Overall a great neighborhood spot for burgers. We may go back to try karaoke night. Spectators only! Lol

Stopped in today to check the place out, the menu is extensive with decent variety. We really enjoyed the chili cheese dog and a wrap, can’t wait to try out the burgers! Our service was fantastic and the manager Shelby was so friendly and helpful. Major highlight is definitely the TV set up and the fact that they play the sound for games. We look forward to coming back for Rockets games!

The food was excellent. We ordered classic smash burgers and garlic fries, and we were blown away. I felt compelled to come here and leave a 5-star review. Seriously, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Price is not too bad, especially for being in the middle of the heights – $17 for burger and fries. Place had a laid back vibe and plenty of TVs for whatever game you want to watch.

I liked and frequented Studewood Cantine, so I thought I’d give the successor a try. It’s sports bar theme but not really authentic. They didn’t have access to show other region nfl games. We had a couple burgers. I had the photo finish and they forgot some of the ingredients. It was overcooked and a bit dry but okay in general. It’s definitely not worth $20 for a non-cooked to order burger (with fries). Too many good burger places at a better price point nearby to come back. Servers were nice. Decent beer choices. I hope they find a groove or maybe go to a single cook to order patty and adjust prices.

Was in the mood for a lobster roll so i stopped when i saw this on my way to the lumber yard. Was expecting a plain hoagie roll with some lobster pieces and butter, what i got was MUCH better.
Ordered the Red Legs version, 2 shrimp atop a hoagie with lots of shredded lobster and crab. Tasty miso aioli sauce. I got the garlic fries which were good and a house fry dipping sauce.
I am definitely driving 40 miles again to eat here.
