We drove here to try the french fries. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and everyone was friendly and helpful. I love the decor. My order was ready in about 2 minutes. The fries were very good. It was worth going out of my way a little bit to give them a try. I would definitely put them in the top 20% of all french fries. I studied all the hot dogs and the different areas that each was from but I did not see a West Virginia hot dog (mustard onion, chili, slaw). They do not have coleslaw to make a West Virginia hot dog. The girl at the counter said they do not get much call for a West Virginia dog. Although the ice cream and milkshake looked great. We ended up just getting the french fries. I recommend everyone stop and give them a try!

This place was AMAZING reminds me of Ted’s hot dogs in buffalo NY. Lived here for 5 years and this was nice to enjoy nice piece of home. Hot dog was a nice crisp skin and juicy dog! Fries were perfectly cooked fresh cut as well dashed with some salt. Place was clean and staff were friendly. Oh and the owner actually works and helps. That was nice to see. The lady who took my order was super sweet and friendly. Earned loyal customers !! Oh and dont forget about the loganberry !! Delicious. Just phenomenal food and service.

I’ve driven by this place a thousand times and finally stopped, the people are nice and the food is OUTSTANDING and totally reasonable! Everything is fresh and nothing is frozen, the onion rings and homeade sauces are to die for! ❤️

First time eating here today after seeing the reviews. Ordered chill cheese dog and cheese fries. Hot dog tasted great and had a snap and fries tasted fresh and hot. Reasonable price as well. Friendly staff and quick service.

My husband is a fan of the Chicago-style hot dog. He had heard about this place so we had to stop in and try it.
His Chicago-style hot dog was very good, the little sport peppers were packing some heat. There were 4 on his hot dog. He would have preferred there be more… I had the cheeseburger, which was very good. I believe It was a frozen patty, but it was tasty with fresh lettuce tomato, onion and pickle. Onion rings were very good, actually crispy which we liked, but they were a bit greasy. But good!
We will eat here again. I want to try their chili cheese dog, It looked really good.
Staff was friendly and we didn’t wait long at all! There is no dining room, but there are outside tables.

Mmm, when you’re in the mood for a Chicago Dog & hot, crispy fries….Matt’s Red Hots is the place to go! They also serve excellent cheeseburgers, grilled chicken, & . We enjoy the outdoor seating. Fun place to go with kiddos after practice or games.

1.This is basically hotdog restaurant not red hot sausages. 2. The chili was horrible Wendy’s bag chili is better. We couldn’t eat it. My husband’s dog wasn’t cooked all the way. The cane sugar juice is fruit punch koolaid. We were not impressed the staff was nice but the food . Even the fries were trash.

Oh yeah, we love this place. Super simple menu, customizable hotdogs and burgers with sodas and shakes and sides with a few other options.
Very small on the inside, if it gets busy I imagine it can get packed. Thankfully the times I’ve gone it wasn’t too busy. The service could be a little friendlier but the food makes up for it. Their burgers are those greasy sloppy type but they are ohhhh so good. The hotdogs are great, we love a good footlong with some cheese. The fresh cut fries are delicious also with cheese!
