The perfect tavern wrapped in baseball history! The grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheddar on a pretzel bun was great but the fries were the best I’ve had in my life – seriously! Good beers and bourbon.

I have been to Mattingly’s several times now. I live on Long Island, but stop off here on the way up to Sullivan County. The owner, Tom, is always super polite and welcoming. The bartenders are also extremely friendly, no matter when I go. They have a flawless upgraded Golden Tee ’26 cabinet, which is extremely tough to find in the Hudson Valley. If I lived closer, I would live at this bar! Cheers!!

I’d give this bar a 3.5/5. The bartender was super sweet and attentive. My fish and chips and my husband’s burger were perfectly cooked. The Mattinglys dry rub wings were insanely salty. The bar top is crazy wonky lol and when I wiped some tartar sauce off the bar, my napkin was black. Could definitely stand to replane the wood on the bar tops.

This place was fantastic! Their wings are phenomenal (I’m partial to their garlic parmesan and Jack Daniels Honey BBQ). They have a wide assortment of beers on tap, including a hard cider. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and the service is wonderful. Both of the Erin’s are so pleasant, as well as knowledgeable/quick behind the bar. Will absolutely be returning

Newly renovated the space is really lovely. The bartender, although very nice, is often distracted and it’s hard to get her attention. The beyond burger was delicious and the food in general was pretty good. It’s a good local sports bar option.

I liked this place the bartender was nice the owner was there but didn’t say a is everything ok , but ok the fries where delicious the steak burger ok ,it doesn’t have taste , and the wings where good I ordered bbq tang it’s a bit spicy. Got delivery, a chicken sandwich and steak which I paid extra for the bacon and cheese on the steak and barbecue sauce on the sandwich. I didn’t get anything I paid extra for. Food itself was mediocre, definitely not worth the $55 dollars.
