Overall pasta and tiramisu were amazing and felt worth it but would skip on the appetizers, which didn’t feel worth it.

Pasta had amazing texture and great flavors (usually I find pastas under flavored). Our group favorite was pappardelle, lamb cheek was so soft and had hint of sweetness. Tiramisu also one of the best (tho thicker texture than normal). While brussel sprouts and milk bread had good flavor, the texture was a bit hard and didn’t feel worth the price

Food was good. Service on Valentine’s Day was unfortunately lacking. No one came by to talk about the menu, give us water, or take our order for 15+ minutes, and when we did order the server just told us that we got too much and we should cut it down. That could’ve been prevented if someone actually introduced themselves and told us about the menu beforehand. Food came out hot and quickly, so at least there’s that, although the brisket was too salty. We had put on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday AND an anniversary and they didn’t acknowledge that at all and were in a rush to get us out once we started slowing down (kept asking if we want boxes, bringing the check, etc). Not sure if we’d come back.

I’ve had items from both the brunch menu and all-day menu and they are all excellent. The housemade jam, crespelle, milk bread bun, arugula & apple salad, lumache pasta, and chocolate torta are delicious – have never had a bad dish. The servers are super friendly and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing.

We love this place and will definitely be back! The food was great—pasta, salad, skewers, and tiramisu were amazing. The only miss for me was the bruschetta—it was a bit oily.

Lovely restaurant, with really tasty food, and great service. Had some arancini and the lumache, and I thought I had over-ordered but ended up eating everything as it was too delicious not to finish.

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday and got the eggs a forno and breakfast burrito. The food was good with fresh ingredients and unique Italian flavors. But my eggs were a little greasy, and I thought the cinnamon bun was undercooked. Good food but not great — I want to come back for their dinner service. The decor and vibe inside is so beautiful and cozy. We sat outside in the park let.

Unbelievably delicious. Every dish, drink, coffee, pastry delivers the finesse of Italian flavor with the most intricate ingredients. Filled with innovation in texture and combinations rooted in traditional Italian cooking. We ordered two pasta dishes, and sausage filled quail, prosciutto with melon, and the wine list is thoughtful too. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or coffee. The baked pasta pie is so unique yet delicious! Almost performing at the Michelin one star level in terms of flavor complexity and cuisine thoughtfulness.

Mattina absolutely nails the modern pasta bar concept, delivering refined, flavorful plates in a relaxed and stylish space. For a date night, it checked all the boxes—and then some.

We grabbed seats at the chef’s counter (highly recommended), where watching the team work was almost as enjoyable as the food itself. Not a single miss on the table. We started with the arancini—crisp, golden, and paired with an incredible peppery-sweet sauce that we couldn’t stop dipping into. The Brussels sprouts were right there with it—charred just enough and punched up by a maple chili glaze.

Now, the pastas. I went with the lumache, and honestly, I’d go back tomorrow just for that. It was perfectly cooked, with rich tomato flavor, a creamy burrata topping that brought a gorgeous temp contrast, and breadcrumbs that gave each bite a perfect crunch. It’s the kind of simple, elegant dish that doesn’t need any tricks to impress. My wife had the tagliatelle with mushrooms, and she was equally floored. She swore she wouldn’t order anything else next time—though I’m eager to explore more of the menu.

Service was genuinely lovely—warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. Every recommendation hit, and the pacing was just right.

All in all, Mattina brings thoughtful food, skilled execution, and great energy at a price point that feels more than fair. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular. We’ll absolutely be back.

The food is priced in the higher side, however it is reflected in the quality of each dish. The ingredients are seasonal and fresh. The radicchio salad was well balanced and the semolina pudding was light and not too sweet—but the breakfast sandwich was the showstopper. Definitely order the biscuit and add the egg. Both the biscuit and the prosciutto melt in your mouth.

Tasty, trendy, pricey.
Took the Little Lady here for a weekday dinner and it was decidedly up to snuff. The flavorful meatballs, presented with plenty of crusty bread, was the highlight of the meal. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance but the music could have been a bit louder. Being seated in front of the open kitchen added a bit of spectacle to the experience. Service was warm, friendly and only slightly intrusive.
In regards to value: prepare your wallet for a wallop. Four small dishes and a Diet Coke set me back over a hundred big ones.
