Wanted to push this out so others don’t end up like me. Avoid Matteo’s unless you like eating bugs with your food.. Literally crying and pregnant while I type this.. I honestly wanted to give them a chance after the various issues I’ve heard with long wait times and even a bad batch of drinks a friend of mine ordered. Though this is completely by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve encountered here today. They’re staff clearly don’t know what they are doing and it shows. Worst place in town and I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!

After an hour search with 3 closed places to get street tacos, we finally found a good place. The street tacos were delicious. The rice has a wonderful flavor and not bland at all. Tried our first taste of frescas via samples and we were not disappointed. We will definitely go back. Anya was very sweet and helpful. Top notch service and food.

Tasted like McDonald’s fries and it was very bland in general nothing really had any flavor. Guacamole tasted like pure avocado mashed up and the meat was not spiced at all. Nacho sauce was like the cheap stuff you get at a gas station. On top of all that the lights are so bright I thought I was waking up from a surgery. Would not recommend

ordered the carne asada fries and they came with a side of hair in them. Also ordered the carne asada tacos and asked for double rice and received no rice at all. Overpriced and mediocre Won’t be eating here again anytime soon

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was nothing short of amazing. But what truly made our visit special was Michelle’s attentive and friendly service. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, recommending dishes and ensuring we had the best quality meals. Her cheerful attitude and genuine care added a personal touch that made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this place and be sure to ask for Michelle! Will definitely be coming back soon.

Thank you for coming to Alamo! The service was great! Everyone was so friendly and inviting. They even let us sample each flavor of Agua Fresca before picking our favs. All the drinks are so delicious and healthy! I also got the green chili and queso smothered burrito & it was so yummy! Ate here last night, spent $60 on 4 entrees which were all virtually inedible. We picked up our food about 30 minutes before closing which was a mistake. When we arrived to pick up our food, we were told they were out of rice for one entree. The rice that was served for the other 3 entrees was dry and hard as a rock with small portions. My mom hurt her tooth on the rice. The beans were dry and hard, like they had been sitting out all day. None of us finished our meals.
We called today and spoke with Yolanda, who was very pleasant and tried to resolve this issue for us. We were told a refund may have been issued if we brought the food back last night. However, the restaurant was already closed so we could not have brought it back. Unfortunately, her supervisor would not authorize even a partial refund.
I genuinely wish I took a photo of my food last night (hatch green enchiladas mixed with cheese fries.) It looked like pig slop.

I ordered the carne asada tacos with cheese and unfortunately my meat was cold and my tortillas weren’t cooked or heated up for that matter. The atmosphere was extremely quiet the handful times I’ve been in there it’s either I’m the only customer or one other person. I can’t say that the whole environment was absolutely clean , very well kept

Both food and service was excellent. Food was flavorful with a nice spicy kick. And they have a variety of drinks and they let us try multiple flavors. Service was beyond expectations. We went about 10 min before the closing time and they still let us order food.
