Kind of mixed on my review of this place. We had the green chili burger, bacon cheeseburger, curly fries and onion rings. Everything was cooked well and the burgers were juicy enough, just not over the top spectacular. The big negative was it took a long time to get our order.

To be honest, it is a simple burger shack with outdoor seating. Do not let the simplicity deceive you.

Went on a camping trip at the lake, so upon departure we were looking for somewhere to eat; mind you, there’s not too many options lol. BUT we took a chance on trying this place and found out it has been there for 14 years! And for perfect reason. Everything was made fresh, TASTED AMAZING, and really exceeded our expectations. The mom was cooking and her young daughter was working along beside her; loved seeing it. Food is amazing and I will be back for that bacon cheeseburger when I go back!

Fantastic burger — hot, freshly made with swiss cheese and I think mustard. I didn’t ask for anything specific and they made it well-done (cooked throughout the middle, not burnt). Happened to pass by this spot and decided to stop, didn’t even look at the reviews first. Really hit the spot! And the family ahead of me got a bunch of different shakes, so those must be good too!

Great little burger joint. I would have given it five stars, but they overcharged me and I can’t stand that! (Only $5, but $5 is $5!) Otherwise the burgers were perfectly cooked, the onion rings were excellent and the curly fries were the bomb! Milk shakes were pretty good too, but that’s where they over charged me. . .

Being from out of town and working nearby all week with my dump truck, I called in an order Saturday evening around 7:30 and was very impressed with the service and quality of the food. Burgers and fries are cooked to order which made everything delicious. This hole in the wall burger joint has homemade burgers.

Quaint off-highway stop near the local Post Office. I was looking for a quick, local bite when driving between El Paso and San Antonio.
The burger was a bit too well done for my tastes, but it was seasoned well. The bun was delicious and the jalapenos were great. The highlight was the tots. Perfectly crispy and they automatically gave me salt and pepper even though I forgot to explicitly ask.
It took about 20 minutes in total to get off the highway, find the place, park, order, get the food, and be back on the highway. Overall would definitely try again. I’m interested in their chili dog. $13 for burger and tots, no drink.

My burger was fabulous. Had a mushroom Swiss with fries. Like I said it was great. And an awesome person behind the window. Will deff be going back

Traveling west from Houston. Five minutes from I-10 so not a detour at all. Walk up orders: burgers, hot dogs, nachos, shakes, ice cream, canned sodas. Our burgers were made to order-not frozen burgers. These were the closest thing to a homemade burger! Fries were hot and fresh. Seating available on the patio or take it to go.

Stopped in on our way from CA to LA. Not far off the 10 freeway. Burgers (bacon cheese and green chili) were great and the patties were BIG and flavorful. Fries and especially the onion rings were yummy. I also got a root beer float which was a bit different than I’m used to as it was blended but it was great and better that way for travel. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly. Great place to stop for good food and to stretch your legs if traveling. The prices were also good, a good bang for your buck! We would definitely come again if we are in the area or would plan accordingly to make it a stop as there is also a nice gas station across the street.
