Last night was my first time eating here and it was our company party. We had steak and moffa chicken? The rice was really good!! The service was very good and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. However, sadly I will not go again. I don’t normally eat sugar and it seemed everything was laced with sugar. The salad would have been awesome without sugar in the Italian dressing. The bread was even sweet. The sauce for the chicken was super sweet. I had to drown my steak in soy sauce to balance out all the sugar. Too much sugar for me.

What is Mafa Chicken? It’s a fried breaded chicken dish that you can put on whatever sauce you’d like. If you like sweet and sour chicken, then you can have it that way, or with Teriyaki, or Honey-mustard. While regionally recognized, it’s not strange as it’s a simple, crispy, fried breaded chicken with sauce. Matsy’s has a wide variety of menu choices and a pleasant casual dining atmosphere, but it can get a little loud as it fills up. The service is good, but a shortage of staff may mean a longer than usual wait at times.

Matsy’s never disappoints! I sometimes forget how delicious the food is! I had the special of Teriyaki Steak and Salmon. A huge, tender slab of steak and an equally impressive slab of salmon, a gentle teriyaki flavor to both, but a side cup of really intense and yummy teriyaki glaze to dip in to my heart’s content. I don’t know where they source their fish, but it has always been beautiful and never fishy. Service was great too. Thanks for another lovely meal!

This used to be Masty’s… But Hog Rock has moved in there. The food is so much better than the old place, same great wait staff. Go check them out. They also have liquor there, mixed drinks, beer, wine

They catered an event there at the restaurant for our friends memorial and the food was fantastic. The service was great and the people were very friendly. Would definitely go back.

Delicious meal, very satisfying meal in friendly environment putting top rank restaurants in many towns to shame without being a big $$$ outing! Very friendly service. Still would love to have the salad dressing recipe. To die for!!

My husband and I tried the prime rib. It was excellent. Cooked perfect, nice and tender and great taste too. It came with some wonderful stir fried veggies, a twice baked potato, roll and a mixed green salad with Italian dressing. Both waitresses were very nice and on top of their customers needs. Price was $34 each. Not bad for today’s prices. We will be back.

Literally my favorite place to eat in this whole area! They have THE BEST food around! Delicious salad (best one I’ve had) and all around great food! I wish they were open more or at least open for more hours, but I try to eat there when I do go out! If you visit, you won’t be disappointed.
