I went to Matsutake when they very first opened – second night or so. It was okay, but not great. Somewhat sloppy cutting of the fish. But!! We got takeout form there last weekend & it seems like they have their quality all sorted out. Although the roll with the cucumber was a bit awkward to eat it was *delicious* & I’d recommend it to someone looking for a lower-carb option for a roll. Sashimi was cleanly presented – a bit of a challenge when it’s to-go – & the Yummy Crunchy appetizer was delightful. We’ll be back!

update – i agree with many other reviews that the service has declined. one of the waitresses that often serves us is dismissive. the past few times we went here we felt rushed and unwelcomed; since then we have tried other sushi restaurants nearby and have had a better experience with comparable quality and lower prices.

The Sushi rolls were very good. The Ramen was pretty decent (will probably stick to sushi in the future, but nice for a change), but the service was terrible. Worst I have had in the area. Could not get a server to our table after the food came to: refill water, replace dropped chopsticks from kids, get another drink, or get the check. Maybe will get takeout in the future(prices were a little steep, so maybe not), but def won’t be going in again.

Really good sushi place. I thought that the interior looked amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I got a spicy tuna, tuna, and spider roll. All tasted great but the spider roll was my favorite. Great drink menu as well and a LOT of sakes to try. They have a big hot food menu too but we didn’t try it this time. I will be back.
