One of the best restaurants in Boise! The smoked tofu banh mi and mac and cheese are both incredible. The staff are friendly and attentive, the beer selection is great, and the patio is dog-friendly with TVs inside for games. If you’re in Boise, this spot is a must!

Nice cozy spot for lunch or drinks. The place has a decent beer selection. The food menu is not real extensive, however I personally appreciate that it means the food is fresher.
I had lunch with a friend we both ordered the brisket chili and we were not disappointed. The chili had lots of brisket was very flavorful and full of your typical vegetables. I would order the chili again in a heart beat. We both had a couple of beers and enjoyed them. The service was very attentive, friendly and fun and not rushed.
This was my first time here and I have been asking myself why i missed this on my radar.

Great casual dining spot serving comfort food and a variety of beers. The Frito pie is awesome! And the BBQ chicken lollipops are great as well. Friendly service and games on TV. Good spot to stop in for a quick bite.

Loved this place so much we came twice in one day. The potatoes are incredible. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Loved the smoked chicken wings, chicken salad, Seattle dog is messy but worth it and that chili is perfect – except it has beans.

We’ve been dropping into Matlack’s for the past year. Love it. Great beer selection (who doesn’t appreciate the great beers that they rotate?), and the menu is tasty. We love the mini baked potatoes, Santa Maria Tri-tip Sandwich, and Tri-tip Steak Salad, yet there’s more to choose from for everyone. Shout out to the staff. Casey and James are attentive and never steer you wrong on beer and food choices. They know beer.

What a great find. A friend mentioned this place so we tried it out for a happy hour. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the staff was great! The menu is really fun and we both decided we want to come again and try more. The beer selection is very good. We had the Chicken Lollipops (legs) that were smoked and wrapped in bacon and then glazed – fantastic! We then split a smoked triple-tip sandwich – the meat was done perfectly and the roll was an Acme Bakery item. I thin would be a great place to come in the warm weather with all of the outside seating.
