What a great find. A friend mentioned this place so we tried it out for a happy hour. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the staff was great! The menu is really fun and we both decided we want to come again and try more. The beer selection is very good. We had the Chicken Lollipops (legs) that were smoked and wrapped in bacon and then glazed – fantastic! We then split a smoked triple-tip sandwich – the meat was done perfectly and the roll was an Acme Bakery item. I thin would be a great place to come in the warm weather with all of the outside seating.

Perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some great food & beverage. The food is delicious. Started with the Smoked Chicken Lollipops. Imagine some smoked, plump, and juicy chicken legs wrapped in bacon and covered in a sweet bbq sauce. Holy smokes… off the chain!! If that wasn’t enough, I ordered the Santa Maria Tri-Tip Sandwich and mac-n-cheese. Hickory & Apple smoked tri-tip, sliced tomato, roasted poblano, chimichurri, ACME baguette. Paired with a pint of IRON HORSE MEXICAN CHOCOLATE DEATH COCOA ALE, it was a mouth-watering experience. The service was very friendly and attentive. Scott is the man! Layed back and chill hangout. Going back for more very soon!

Matlacks is family friendly to start off. Not a huge fan of beer but do recommend going. They do offer cider and non alcoholic drinks. They have a small menu with delicious items. Definitely would not consider it “bar” food.

Loved this place, first time and will definitelybe back, the food was delicious big portions! Great service aswell. The smoke drumsticks are huge! A little salty but delicious best with chimichurri! Next time we’ll stop by without the kiddos so we can try the beer. Highly recommended!

Nice clean place. Good selection of beers, wine and food. I had the smoked chicken drummies and mini baked potatoes from the appetizer menu. They were both good, nice smoked flavor. They have a happy hour on both select appetizers and drink specials. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beer and wine only, no liquor license.

So happy we tried this place! Limited menu which I think makes the food really good and really fresh. I’m not a beer drinker so I can’t speak on that subject. I tried the Boss Hog sandwich – delish! Excellent flavor. Bread was perfect and didn’t suffocate the whole thing. Pork had a smokey herb flavor like I had never tasted, but plan to have again. My friends ordered the Santa Maria Tri Tip and Smoked Club and raved about their sandwiches. We also had the Chicken Lollipops; OMG! Heaven on a stick…or bone. I saw a couple of the salads and will definitely be trying one of those. The dressings are all house made and very tasty. I recommend the blue cheese vinaigrette. Ranch was good too. Atmosphere is fun and open, esp in the warmer months when they can open the rolling doors. Your mouth will be happy you stopped in!

Great food, excellent service, it was a bit quiet when we were there, but it was pretty early. Good selection of beer, they even had a very good non- alcohol beer for me. The smojed chicken lollipops were great!

Great place, amazing food! Our group ordered the steak salad, the nachos with chimichurri, the mac n cheese. Nachos were to die for. Banana pudding was great. My husband loved the Mac n cheese. Great staff! Parking is tough due to construction but it is worth the walk. Go visit asap. This place is great!
