Matilda Midnight was truly a vibe and I couldn’t recommend it enough. My husband and I went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t very busy. Which was completely fine with us. The bartender was great and he made us delicious and delightful cocktails. Since it was my birthday he even made me a very tasty shot that went with the drink I was was having at the time. The atmosphere was everything. Every little detail put into everything was perfect. Definitely wanting to go back

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. What an unexpected surprise tucked away in a cute little Chattanooga hotel! Immediately upon arriving at the hotel, the service was incredible, from the concierge at the door, to the bar staff, it made me seriously regret not staying at the hotel itself. But to the bar itself, also incredible. We were told after sitting down that they had just rolled out a new menu, and I can’t speak for the atmosphere and presentation of previous menus, but this one was incredible. Astrology themed and printed on a beautiful card (we wanted to steal one, but we didn’t) the menu sets the tone for the incredibly unique drinks it describes. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. And while the low light in the bar doesn’t lend to the best photo ops, it does promote enjoying the moment and you can grab some great selfies in your cute outfit in the hotel lobby which is sunlit and decorated in a great mid-century modern vibe. Cue the Mad Men theme. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My husband and I were visiting Chattanooga and ended up here one night. Fantastic decor, ambiance, service and drinks. We went during the week and it was quiet, nice to sit and chat. Love the couches and chairs, nice and comfy! The bartender apologized because their speakers were out, and music was playing, just not loudly. Maybe it’s normally louder.

This is a must-go for cocktail fanatics. The setting is beautiful and the tarot theme is so fun. Caleb and Josh crafted us AMAZING cocktails and mocktails using interesting ingredients and with skills that you can only find in the best cocktail bars. I was IMPRESSED! The bar itself is perfect for date night because of how peaceful it is.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from FL and I just had to stop by this bar that had cocktails named after Tarot cards and Matilda Midnight did not disappoint! The decor has this great speakeasy vibe and Caleb the bartender mixed up some beautifully crafted cocktails! Stopped in before dinner reservations elsewhere and enjoyed the cocktails and conversation so much that we went back after dinner for a few more drinks! One of the highlights of our trip!

The Matilda Midnight is a beautiful lounge with fantastic service from friendly, attentive staff and bartenders. The service is great, and the cocktails are wonderful. There are tapas and small plates to share as well. This has intimate seating so groups may be hard to seat. There are separate lounges as well. We loved the drinks, staff and location. There is free parking and valet available as well.
