Decided to try something different so we found this little restaurant. It’s kinda hidden and the parking lot is super small. We decided to try their Saltido de pollo (chicken) and Pesco frito (fried fish) and I ordered a juice that I believe had passion fruit. The juice was very good and I enjoyed the tropical flavor. The chicken however, was extremely dry. Even through all the tomatoes It was super dry w/ no flavor. This was disappointing, especially since it was our first time here and even trying Peruvian food. The waiter came by and asked how everything was tasting and I told him It was not good because the chicken was dry and had no flavor. He offered to have the cook make me another plate but I declined. I was already put off with the consistency and lack of flavor. So I just shared the plate of the fried fish. This dish was actually very good. I am not a fish eater but this dish had great flavor. It didn’t disappoint. My mother & father in law ordered the Lomo saltado (Snapper) to share. I did not try this dish however they said it was good but lacked the actual Snapper. There were only a few pieces of the fish in the meal so to them, they said it was not worth the price. Perhaps this was a one time bad experience but once is all it takes for me to determine if I would return. The service was awesome and the waiter was very nice. I appreciated that I did not get charged for the meal but I have to be honest about my experience and the food I tried. I have heard that the ceviche is good here so perhaps If you decide to go, try that.

The best ceviche in Albuquerque. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. I had the maracuyá to drink and it was enormous! The drink itself was so refreshing and delicious. I tried the ceviche tradicional, chicken and beef empanadas, and papa a la huancaina. All were delicious, and the ceviche was the stand out dish. I can’t wait to go back. ❤️

Top tier food. Cannot recommend enough. The owner brought out the ingredients to show us and taught us about the food. Super fresh and not nearly busy enough for how incredible they are.

So cool to have Peruvian food here and wow! It was such a treat, delicious and authentic experience. When we walked it it felt like I entered a cozy home. The owners were so warm, welcoming and extremely passionate! They spent time chatting with us and said they get a lot of their ingredients straight from Peru. We will be back! Try the ceviche!!! It was delicious

This was such a heavenly meal. As someone who’s never tried Peruvian food before, I was nervous and excited, and came out having one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time!
Definitely get the Helado de Lucuma, it’s a beautiful caramel-like ice cream.
10/10, will be going back again.

What a wonderful and educational experience. I highly recommend it. We came here as a school project for a Spanish class. The server (maybe the owner?) helped us embrace the experience… quizzing us in Spanish and educating us on Peruvian food culture. I felt welcomed and accepted despite this being my first exposure to Peruvian cuisine. The plantains were the best I have ever had! The food was full of flavor and worth every penny. The chicken fell off the bone just by looking at it. That cilantro rice was fire, too! Thank you and we will be back!

Delicious authentic Peruvian food in odd location with great service and traditional offerings.
Having enjoyed Peruvian food elsewhere and happy to see a new place pop-up after another one had closed down a couple years ago, we made time to come try it out.
The atmosphere isn’t great and it’s in an odd location. It was cold inside since it was below freezing outside, but the service was wonderful and the food was pretty good. We tried a few traditional dishes and enjoyed them enough to recommend the place to our friends and plan to bring them there to enjoy it as well.

I just enjoyed a soft flaky lightly breaded Red Snapper with a tangy white bean red onion salad with cilantro and roasted pine nuts. The flavors are through the roof and everything is exquisitely prepared.
My wife enjoyed the most succulent tender beef cubes with white beans and jasmine rice. Loved it.

Everything is good. Quaint little joint but the flavors pack an unforgettable punch. The staff are kind and the food is served hot and quick. Yes. Yes. Yes! Prices are higher but very reasonable for fresh tasty ingredients. Always a repeat.

Expensive price for cheap food. Arroz con pollo for $28?!?! One piece or chicken, a cup of rice & some pickled onions for $28! Used frozen peas & carrots. Bullion seasoning packets. And how can you have a dry thigh? Bad, just bad.
