Absolutely a great place to eat. Me and my son wanted to try somewhere new and he chose here for his birthday,and man are we glad. The food was exceptional, we had cheese steaks which were probably best I’ve had outside of Philly. We also did the Nashville hit chicken sliders and they were some of the juiciest chicken pieces we have had in awhile. Not to mention the pickles and sauce on it were just right. That food was so good we decided to try another item and we got the barria tacos and im telling you what the meat was cooked perfect and the pickled onions and sliced jalapeños just made it out of this world. Me and my son have found a place we can’t wait to go back and try more option like the smoked Mac with chicken tender or the burritos or enchiladas that we seen go buy as we were waiting. One last thing the fries are outstanding as well I know they get overlooked but were delicious and the milkshakes looked great as well. Stop in and try this place it is better than great.

So as far as food it was delicious, fresh. They give homemade salsa and chips while you wait. We ate it all and i got some to go it’s very good. All the food Very well prepared. The food the restaurant did not disappoint. The Mac and cheese was perfect. My hubby said best he’s ever eaten. The icetea tasted like old fashioned ice tea perfect. The service was amazing our waiter was very personable. He came back twice to see if we wanted refills on our tea then gave us refills to go, he is very kind. Very quick at his job. the owner made crème brû·lée oh boy was it delicious. I highly recommend trying it. Restaurant was clean. We enjoyed our meal and will def be a return customer. Hubby got the the cheeseburger burrito i can say it was very good. Lol. (I took a bite) i got the chicken sliders mmmm fries were fresh. 90 percent of the food is made in house.

The cheesesteak was very good. BUT they can be more giving with the amount of fries you get. I ordered 4 cheese steaks and 4 fries as a pickup order. When I arrived I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. When they handed me my bag of food there were only 3 containers. I questioned that I ordered 4 sandwiches for 4 people. They told me they put 2 cheesesteaks in each container. All 4 fry orders were in the third container. When I got home we opened up the order. We had to get 2 plates to eat our subs on and they had maybe 2 cups of fries in the 3rd container for 4 people! We all had a look like WHAT??? Where are the other 2 orders of fries? So the 2 men ate the fries, and the 2 women had to get chips out of the cupboard???? The cheesesteak was very good, but they are very skimpy on containers and the fries. The photo you see was the amount of fries that was split for 2 people.

Very friendly and great homemade food! Even the owner came out to say hi. Recommend everything but the cheese risotto was great tasting side dish. The cheesesteak, Nashville hot chicken and house burger were super yummy.

Best cheesesteaks around without a doubt. Everything is fresh and really good across the whole menu. Cheese wedges are awesome, birra tacos are awesome. Make sure you check the specials for the week. The staff is friendly and great. If something’s not right they will fix it. These people care about the food and their customers.

Prob my new favorite cheesesteaks. Admittedly I ordered mine without onions and it came with em (im not big on onions) but…they were caramelized to perfection so I did what any sane person would do and ate em….lol. the sandwich was delicious! Service was a little slow, but they were actually so busy they were turning customers away at the door, and had warned us in advance. Food made up for the wait!

I’m so impressed with the quality of food and service at Mateo’s! This evening’s special was a salmon filet over ratatouille risotto. It was perfection! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed anything I’ve ever tried, from cheesesteaks to dinner entrees. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. It’s a small business that I am happy to support and strongly recommend to others!
