Decided to eat before attending the casino, server was prompt, food came in a timely manner. Had the garlic shrimp Alfredo as My main dish. Food came out quickly and hot, it was delicious. Desert was sticky toffee pudding. Oh my gosh it was so good. It presented well. (See pic)The Price’s did seem a little elevated when it was time to pay $9.25 for a beer is a bit much. Had I known the casino offered a 15 percent discount I would of played first. Then ate after. i would return in the future.

0 stars. Worst restaurant we’ve ever been. We called to reserve a table for our group. After sitting, it took ONE HOUR AND 30 MINUTES from sitting to getting our food on a Saturday at noon. If you love yourself, stay away from this place.
My overpriced 6oz steak was 4oz tops. I asked for medium rare and the steak was an overcooked cold ruin with a grease paste underneath. An absolute insult. I didn’t want to return it and wait another 90 minutes to get food, but in retrospect I should have just walked out. Unbelievable. Staff, you are reading this, I should be given my money back. The bathroom was a mess like someone trashed the place. I can’t imagine how the kitchen looks like.

Visited Match Eatery after our time at the casino. it was during the day so the place was not very busy. this place has a great patio with awesome view of the river and since it was a sunny day we really enjoyed some drinks and apps while taking in the sun. Staff was friendly and we chatted about different events they have here during the summer. Nice visit.

Great patio for summer night out.
I had the Mac & Cheese and it was delicious. It was supposed to come with pulled pork but they were all out and I didn’t find out until it was brought to the table. They substituted with extra bacon but probably would have gotten something else if I had known.

Very impressed with this restaurant. Love the outdoor seating as every table has an incredible view of the St Clair River and Blue Water Bridge. Food was reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. Service was great, but a bit slow…but no complaining here as the constant river traffic kept us occupied during the wait time.
The NY Strip steak meal was excellent, the fish and chips were very good and so was the chicken sandwich w/fries.
Restaurant was crowded, but cleared out by sunset, which was perfect for viewing the gorgeous afterglow. Once it was dark, the lighting from the Blue Water Bridge was breathtaking. If this wasn’t enough, then watching a couple of freighters move up the river and underneath the BW Bridge made the night view more special. Overall, Match Eatery was a wonderful idea after being entertained in the casino. I would definitely do it again.

BEST WHISKEY SOUR MADE IN SARNIA!! We asked for it made without egg. The cocktail was perfectly mixed.
It’s a Casino restaurant yet the 8oz NY steak frites was only $34. This is a great value price in my opinion. The cut of meat was great, didn’t taste cheap.
Food coming out was a tad slow, but it was a Sunday night so they get a pass. Server was awesome, don’t remember his name but he was there on Sunday Sept. 21st from 7-8pm. We will be back.

Looked great when we walked in. Good layout, open spaces, amazing views of the waterfront and great ambience, with the exception of the music playing. Were greeted and seated promptly, and server was friendly and polite. Wasn’t impressed with the menu options; it looks to be geared more towards ‘quick bites’ than entrees except there is nothing quick about it. Kitchen was slow and forgot to make one of the orders so meals came at different times. Server was great about it and apologized for the error. Presentation was blah and although meat was all cooked perfectly, it was tasteless and getting cold. Ceasars from the bar were amazing though and I recommend any of the five kinds offered! Price was reasonable if only the food was better. Might go back in a few months to try the patio and see if it has improved.

Update: Reached out to Ian Wood 3 times regarding his message below and have heard nothing back in over six weeks.
Got take-out after spending a few hours in the casino, late afternoon/early evening. Wait was reasonable and server was friendly and attentive. Got lettuce wraps (excellent) and the ribs feature. Only issue was not getting the cornbread or fries that was supposed to come with it. Got the side of gravy lol. Called a few times but it was busy when I left.
