Inspired by its rich history and 1950s glamour, world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has reinvented the iconic MATADOR ROOM with reimagined menus that offer his interpretation of Caribbean, Spanish, and Latin and South American cuisines. Seasonal menus are composed of small and large plates that embrace the freshest, locally sourced, seasonal produce. The space’s original chandelier has been restored and is suspended over the sunken oval dining room that is reminiscent of the glamorous supper clubs of the 1940s and 50s.
Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Latin fare is presented in a historic oval room with an atmospheric bar.

Truly a spectacular experience! We had the entire restaurant to ourselves, VIP seating on the window with exceptional service from Maria and David, whom must of stopped by our table at least a dozen times to check if we were having a great time. The flavors and presentation were fantastic, especially the tuna tartar, and Nutella croissant which is served warmed! Oh la la!

I visited a few weeks ago for my solo birthday celebration and loved the atmosphere here! I made a reservation to dine outside and was warmly welcomed and taken to a table immediately upon arrival. Everyone from the hostess to the server were very kind and made sure to check in a few times during the meal and refilled my water glass without asking. Special thank you to Ivana and Jonathan. I ordered the chipotle chicken tacos and vodka thyme lemonade which were all delicious! Would highly recommend to try this place out!

I recently enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Matador Room for my mother in laws birthday. The night was impeccable Jonathan and Maria delivered a top tier service. They were attentive to the needs of everyone at the table and so kind, it felt like home. The bartender Mike was so charismatic and the drinks were wonderful. Of course the cherry on top was the AMAZING food . Chef Noel everything was so delicious, I can’t pick what I loved the best. We will definitely be back. Matador Room deserves a 10/10, hands down one the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Highlight of the place is attentive servers. Have visited the place several times, food is great, and it is attention to detail that comes through in every dish. Even side salad and breakfast potatoes are excellent! Short rib tacos are one of my favorite items on the menu. When ordering guacamole you can ask for a side of veggies which are always fresh and flavorful instead of chips if you want to be on a healthier side. Burger is great, drinks are really yum as well.

Loved the Matador. The food and drinks were excellent, service was attentive and friendly, and the vibes are great.
We had a pea guacamole, which was flavorful and fresh. Good combination of flavors and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips.
The octopus appetizer was truly exceptional — and my octopus standards are particularly high, if I may say so myself. Full of flavor, soft, and yet cooked through and not slimy at all. Loved that dish.
The snapper entree was also fantastic — fresh, very tasty, cooked to perfection, and a good portion.
Lastly the coconut tres leches dessert was so great we ordered it again through room service a couple of nights later.

Matador Room is my favorite place for arroz con pollo in Miami. The flavors are rich and perfectly balanced, the rice is beautifully seasoned, and the chicken is tender and juicy. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable. Always a wonderful dining experience.

This is our third time! Beautiful place inside the Edition Hotel. Music a little loud for me.
Menu is limited but delicious. Mushrooms with goat cheese were great and the octopus with potatoes killed. We enjoyed the pizza as an appetizer too. Dessert: Best chocolate lava cake in Miami.
