Service was great! We went at a time that wasn’t very busy time. Food is great! My husband & I just go for drinks & the carne asada nachos. Nachos definitely recomend 10/10. Personally I feel like this place has one of the best nachos in Meridian! Definitely recomend trying it out Atmosphere is great music isn’t to loud. You can actually hear the person next to you . They do have outdoor patio seating I’m sure this is seasonal though.

Service was good. Our server was very kind and very helpful. The food was a little disappointing. We got the coconut shrimp and it was not what we were expecting. We couldn’t taste any coconut and the batter was practically burnt. We asked for it to be remade and it came out very similar so I assume this is how it is normally prepared. Just tasted like burnt batter. With this being said our server refunded the item with no questions asked. She was great!

This spot has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Meridian! The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My husband had the taco salad ($15), which was loaded with meat and super fresh. I got three shredded chicken street tacos, and they were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor ($7 during happy hour).
We also started with the chips and flight dip ($15), which was amazing. The guacamole, in particular, was hands down the best I’ve ever had!
The atmosphere is lovely, with plenty of different seating options to choose from. The service was also excellent, they brought out the chips and food really quickly.
The only downside is that it’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, it was totally worth it for such a great date night experience!

Matador has always been a favorite. First time I tried Matador was in West Seattle, many moons ago. They only had two locations at the time. I loved their full sized goat cheese jalapeño poppers and calamari. Their seasonal buttersquash tacos were incredible. I would love to see these items on the menu again! Thank you for bringing Matador to Boise. Great ambiance and food.

Great food and atmosphere. They have great Happy Hour deals, I’d recommend going then. Love the Nachos, it’s enough for 4 people, trust me. Chips and salsa is good. They get pretty busy at dinner time, record going early.

Beyond the seat placement by the restroom there is the extra pleasure of an electoral hazard. My guess is they used to have booths along the wall, but tried to squeeze in more seating. When a new seat was requested we were told that was possible if we wanted to be placed back on the waiting list… downtown Boise location is a better experience.

An awesome happy hour with margaritas and great fish tacos. Out of all the village spots, this is our favorite. Shrimp tacos are also great. A major sustain. Trailer parking Difficult.

The decor is lovely, the food was pretty good. I ordered a bowl and it was a good amount of food. Our server brought chips and salsa when we sat down and there’s also was quite tasty.

Everytime I go to Matador the service and food are fantastic. I went there on 12/9/25 ordered my food and was blown away how fast everything came out. Everything was delicious. I definitely love the atmosphere. The Matadore has an excellent chef!!!! The wait staff is professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Matador is definitely the sort of restaurant, if you want be well taken care of, good vibes and high quality Mexican food.
